CH. 6
Summer vacation was over and Izuku's University life was about to begin!
The University was about a 1 hour ride by car and about 3 hours by train so Izuku and his mom thought it best that he moved into the dorms to save Izuku the commute hours so he could focus on school. Izuku was packing the last couple of things he needed for school before he took off.
After the party incident Izuku was a complete mess. He didn't expect Bakugo to kiss him; the feel of the blondes lips against his still felt fresh. Izuku couldn't forget how well their scents mixed together. The next couple of days after that, Izuku was bombarded by a ton of texts from Bakugo; Izuku's mom even told him that Katsuki had dropped by the house a couple of times. He never replied, he just read them. He would send messages like, 'Izuku, I'm so sorry, please give me a chance to explain', 'Izuku, I'm outside, I'll be here till you come out', 'Izuku, please talk to me, I know you've seen these messages', 'Izuku, I'm going to UA tomorrow, I want to see you one more time and explain why I kissed you, please talk to me', and 'Izuku, I'm about to take off, can you come down please'. Izuku could never bring himself to reply to any of those messages. He was scared that Bakugo's explanation was one he didn't want to hear. That he was under the influence of his alpha instincts and just wanted to brush it off like nothing happened, or maybe say that he just kissed him for the hell of it; he was scared of hearing something he didn't want to hear. The kiss meant so much to Izuku. Now that he had experienced the alphas touch, when his heat came midsummer he imagined the blondes touch running up and down his body and cry from craving the feeling of his touch. To Izuku, getting over Bakugo was going to be much, much harder now.
As Izuku was zipping up his suitcase, he heard something fall under his bed and he went to pick it up. As he retrieved the object, his eyes locked onto a photo album. He sat on the floor and flipped through it; it was a photo album he and Bakugo created when they were younger. It was filled with photos of the two at basketball games, taking naps, playing with toys, etc.. Izuku smiled slightly as the memories came flooding in. How the two used to be so close, and now they are so far. 'I guess I'm never really gonna be able to get over you huh?' Izuku thought as he wiped a tear away. Before he placed the photo album in a box labeled "memory" his mom set in his room that would later be put in the attic, he took a small wallet sized photo that was taken of the two when Bakugo won his very first basketball game and put it in his wallet.
Izuku grabbed the last of his luggage and headed downstairs where Todoroki and his mom were waiting. The bi-colored haired alpha offered to help the omega make a smooth transition into the dorms so he offered to drive him up to the university.
"You got everything sweetie?", Izuku's mom said.
"Yeah, this is the last of it", Izuku said with his luggage in hand.
"Here, I'll take them to the car for you", Todoroki said as he grabbed the luggage out of his hands and went to put them in the car.
"Hey Izuku, if you don't take him, I'll take him for myself~", Izuku's mom whispered to the boy.
"Mom that's gross!", Izuku said loudly followed by a laugh.
"Oh honey you know it's a joke", she said laughing. The two started making their way to the car.
"Alright Izuku, you make sure to call me once you get there. Message me or call me when you need something okay?", Izuku's mom said.
"I will mom. Don't miss me too much, the school isn't that far away, I can always come back home to visit.", Izuku said to his mom.
"Boy, it's my time to shine. Having the house to myself, maybe I'll even start dating again!", the mom said excitedly raising an eyebrow towards her son.
"Okay, okay, I get the hint mom", Izuku said with a chuckle.
"Alright, we should be off now", Todoroki said as he opened the passenger door for Izuku.
The two greenettes shared a tight hug before Izuku hoped in the car. "You take care of my Izuku now, Todoroki", Izuku's mom said towards Todoroki.
"I will ma'am", Todoroki said with a smile. He then got into the car and began to drive. Izuku poked half his body out the window, waving bye to his mother until she was out of sight. Todoroki handed Izuku some tissues; the greenette was in tears the entire ride to the dorms.
As the two arrived at the dorms, Todoroki helped Izuku put the luggage into the room.
"You sure you don't need my help unpacking?", Todoroki asked.
"Oh no, you've done more than enough to help me! Besides, don't you have basketball practice in what, 30 minutes? You really need to go before you get in trouble", Izuku said with a smile.
"Alright, then I'll be taking my leave. Message me if you need anything.", Todoroki said.
"I will!", Izuku said with a smile. Todoroki smiled back and waved as he exited the room.
The dorm room was nice. There was a kitchen, a living room, and two bedrooms.
"Hm, I guess my roommate is out. I'll try to unpack as fast as I can so we can become acquainted", Izuku said rolling up the sleeves of his sweater and began unpacking.
Here at UA, you didn't find out who you're neighbor/roommate was until move in day, so Izuku was clueless to who he was going to be spending the next four years or so with. Izuku began unpacking his clothes, then bedding, then decorations and electronics. The clock read 5:42 p.m. and his roommate still wasn't there.
'Hmm, maybe I'll go buy something for dinner tonight. I'm too exhausted to cook anything right now.' Izuku thought.
As he was heading back to the dorm room, he had bought dinner for two; he simply bought two hamburger meals from a nearby fast food chain. He thought it was a good idea to start off on a good foot with his new roommate. He put the key in and opened the door. He heard rummaging in the kitchen. 'Ah! They're here!', Izuku thought, he hurriedly took off his shoes and made his way towards the kitchen.
"Hello? My name is Izuku Midoriya, I'm your new ro-", Izuku stopped mid-sentence as he saw who he would be spending the next four years of university with. Midoriya couldn't believe his eyes.
Standing in front of him was Bakugo Katsuki wearing nothing but a pair of black jogger pants. The two stared at each other like deer in the headlights.
These next four years are going to be interesting~
