Can't Live Without You

CH. 12

Izuku and Shinso were making their way to their elective course. Luckily, he and Shinso were doing the same major so they could depend on each other.

It's already been a month into the semester, and everyone has gotten used to their schedules. As more days went on Izuku was drawing closer to the deadline of confronting Todoroki's proposal. As time drew near, Bakugo and Izuku were grew closer. Izuku was happy at how their relationship was developing: they had classes together, they would sometimes study in the library alone, they had dinner together, they would hang out from time to time, and they would either watch tv or play video games together. Sometimes when they were watching movies Bakugo took the initiative and put his arm around Izuku's shoulders and he responded with leaning into the alphas chest. Izuku was beyond happy with how close the two were growing; he even began to think that Bakugo may have feelings for him.

At the same time, Todoroki's advances were becoming more and more direct. At times when the two were alone, the alpha would hold the omegas hand just long enough before the omega pulled away. When they were in class the alpha would pass the omega sweet little notes. The text messages getting more and more loving as the days went on; the alpha saying things like "I love you Izuku", or "I wish you were here with me right now." His heart continued to waver between both alphas as they both continued to court the omega.

The two took their seats in the front of class and waited for it to start. In the meantime, they decided to talk.

"So, what are you going to do?", Shinso asked as the two took out their notebooks and pencil(s).

"I don't know, I honestly feel stuck between a rock and a hard place", Izuku said playing with his pen.

Izuku considered Shinso one of his closest friends. He could always depend on Shinso to keep a secret unlike the girls. Back in high school he told them about how he had a small crush on a boy named Aaron(made up character😂) and spread it across the class. He remembers getting an earful from Bakugo about it on the way to school on how the boy was a player and other unmentionable things. Izuku confided all his secrets and feelings with Shinso. He knew everything: he knew about his feelings for Bakugo, Todoroki's confession, his first heat incident, the party, EVERYTHING.

The reason he asked that question is because Izuku had told Shinso everything that has been happening. Although Izuku found Todoroki to be one of his best friends, he never saw Todoroki in a romantic way. He would be lying if from time to time the alpha didn't make his heart skip a beat. He tried to imagine the two together, but his thoughts always brought him to Bakugo.

The kiss at the party left him more confused than ever. All the years he ignored the omega, he all of sudden kisses him and now that their roommates he's been showing increments of affection every time they were together. When they had dinner last night, Bakugo had a small vase with a bouquet of Hibiscus flowers. When Izuku asked why he got the flowers Bakugo replied with, "I was at the store and I saw them. I grabbed them because you once said they were your favorite." The only time he had ever told Bakugo that they were his favorite was when they were in elementary school. When Bakugo said that, Izuku felt butterflies in his stomach and a blush rose to his face; luckily Bakugo was focused on his food so he didn't notice.

So on one hand he has Todoroki, his best friend, someone who likes Izuku wholeheartedly, is kind, sweet, handsome, and a total gentleman. Izuku could see himself enjoying his company. But on the other he had Bakugo.

Though Izuku knew that Bakugo was crude towards him in middle and high school for some unknown reason, he also shared his caring side for Izuku; they had history. Bakugo was funny, charming, handsome, made Izuku feel constant butterflies, and he loved Bakugos' scent. He felt safe, happy, and content whenever he was around the alpha. Their relationship was beginning to turn a new leaf. So new that he swears that romance is beginning to bloom between them. But the fact that Bakugo was able to kiss him even though he was already in a relationship, would he do that to Izuku if they were dating?
