The kids had left the bedroom after a little while because they got bored. Joanne and Charles didn't have anything planned this Sunday anyway, so they decided to stay under the covers for a little longer. She had liked being asleep in his arms, but being awake was just as good. The silence rested comfortably in the room with them while her head rested on his chest and one of her legs was swung over his hips. His hand rested on the back of her thigh meanwhile and his chin rested against her forehead, where he left soft kisses every now and then. It was peaceful and such a contrast to the previous night at the casino, however Charles had made up to her for that with all of the love and tenderness he carried for her. Charles' eyes were focussed on the ceiling and he blinked slowly at the thoughts that moved through his head. "Everything alright?". Joanne suddenly asked. "Sure, why are you asking?". He replied. "Your heart beats more rapidly". She smiled softly.

Charles let out a low chuckle and he gently turned to his side, leaning on his elbow while he looked down at her. Joanne rested her head on the pillows again and looked back up at his face. "There's been something on my mind". He admits. "You can tell me everything". Joanne muttered while her fingers trailed over his arm. Charles nodded slowly as he looked into her chocolate eyes. "I would love it if you move in with me, Joanne". He says then, making her own heart skip a beat at his request. "After last night I just feel... I just feel like it would be so much safer. And I'm scared that my life has consequences for you and Liam. Here you're close to me and I can look over you". His hand moved some of her hair away from her face and his fingertips glided over her cheekbone. "You don't have to answer today, I just want you to consider it". He added softly and she nodded. "It's a big step in our relationship, Charles". Joanne responded. "I'll think about it". She said with a small smile.

"That's good enough for me". Charles said and he leaned down to kiss her lips. "Are you hungry? I'll ask the staff to prepare something". He said next. "That's fine". Joanne nodded and sat up, her hair falling down her bare shoulders. "I'm going to take a quick shower". She announced. "Of course". Charles replied and watched her as she got up, collecting the robe she had worn last evening. He couldn't lift his eyes from her beautiful, nearly naked body. She turned around in the doorway and look at him when he was seated in the large bed. "Aren't you going to join?". Joanne asked, a smile curling her lips. He let out a breathy laugh and pushed the sheets aside to get out of bed. She let the shower run meanwhile and she felt the water temperature with her hand and then got into the cubicle. Charles dropped his underwear in the laundry bin and got under the running water with her. His hands reached out for her as soon as he could. Charles felt like her petite body was made for him to pull into his chest.

Like her lips were made for kissing him and the soft sparkle in her eyes were there just for him to gaze at. Charles wasn't sure what the reason was that she wanted to shower together, so he let her decide. He watched her while she moved her wet hair over her shoulders, her fingers then gliding up his arms that were holding her close to him. Joanne's hands moved to the back of his neck and she stood on her tippy toes to reach his lips. He felt her impatience against his mouth by how her tongue swiped over his lower lip and how her teeth playfully nipped. Charles' grip on her waist tightened and shifted his lips from hers down to her neck, nibbling on her pulse. He was confident in his next move when she let out a small whimper and he moved to grab the back of her thighs and lift her up. Joanne moved his wet hair away from his forehead and she looked down at him before her head dropped back against the tile wall as she let him make love to her again.

It was actually late in the afternoon when Charles dropped Liam and Joanne off at their house. Liam had thanked Charles many times for another very fun sleepover and Charles had eyed Joanne with a small smile meanwhile. They were both sure two of the family would have no trouble if Joanne and Liam moved in. Charles knew Jules would be over the moon. He left after he dropped them off and Joanne sat at the kitchen table to prepare some small bits for her class tomorrow morning, while Liam sat across of her, working on a puzzle. Joanne was done around the evening and closed her laptop. The brunch at Charles' apartment had been just as rich in nutrition as he was rich himself, which is why Joanne prepared just a small meal to eat for them both. "You haven't told me at all what you and Jules have been doing together". Joanne mentioned as she looked over at her son.
