"Do you see that, honey?". Joanne held Liam in her lap as she pointed to the window of the luxe jet. "Australia's right under us". She added as Liam nodded and looked intensely out of the window to see some clouds beneath them and much farther beneath them, Australia. Charles smiled at the pair, looking over at Jules who had passed out halfway the long flight and was strapped in the seat next to him. A small announcement from the pilot informed them that they were going to land soon and she let Liam sit down in his seat again. He secured the seatbelt around his waist and was visibly excited for the jet to land. Because of the timezones, they landed in Perth in the late afternoon. They were going to get to their apartment and then grab a bite somewhere. Tomorrow was the wedding of Daniel and his wife and they had enough time to prepare for that.

The jet slowly descended to Perth's airport and touched the ground eventually, rolling to a hangar where it would remain till they were flying back at the end of the week. The host of the apartment had send over an assistent that would drive them to the apartment and give them a quick tour, including everything they needed for the week. They could unlock their seatbelts and the door of the jet was opened by the staff, the stairs shoved down so they could move out of the aircraft. Charles made sure the staff took their luggage down to the car that was ready for them. Liam and Jules went down the stairs in front of Joanne and he noticed she thanked the staff kindly for their service during their flight, making his heart swell in his chest at how polite she was. It made him think more and more often that he didn't want anyone else to be Jules' mother but her. Joanne held the kids closed when she was down on the ground too, not wanting them to run off on the busy airport.

Charles dribbled down the few stairs too, meeting her there with a smile. His hand moved to her lower back when they made their way the car that was now packed with their luggage. An woman in her fifties stood next to the car and held the door of the backseat open. "Mr. Leclerc?". She asked and Charles nodded, shaking her hand. Joanne followed his example. "I'm your guide to the rental apartment. If you get in the car, I will take you there right away". She smiled friendly next and Joanne and the kids hopped into the backseat as Charles sat in the passenger's seat next to her. The woman didn't talk much after she started the car and drove away from the airport. She chatted her and there about the sightseeings in Perth and gave some recommendations for great restaurants to visit. The most important information was about the apartment anyway, so Joanne didn't mind much. Jules and Liam occupied her during the ride with their stories about the flight experience.

The car halted in front of a large building that reached multiple floors into the sky. The woman made a short phone call and the staff of the building came out of the doors to take their luggage to one of the floors straight away. "Please, follow me". She asked and Charles ushered the kids in front of them to follow the woman to the elevator. Charles' fingers moved down Joanne's arm and their fingers interlocked as they moved up to the twelfth floor. "There are five luxurious apartments per floor, you have number four for this week. Mr. Ricciardo is delighted you chose one of the recommendated apartments. We have good connections with him". She explained as she opened the door to their apartment. The apartment was luminous and large, the interior was very modern and luxiourous. Two sides of the walls existed of wide windows, white curtains on the side. There was a flatscreen TV in the living room that offered a view over Perth. The woman briefly guided them through the apartment, showing the two bedrooms and the bathroom.

"On this document are the rules in case there is something not satisfactory. It also includes the WiFi code and the instructions for the airconditioning system". The woman pointed out. "Your luggage is taken upstairs right now, so you'll be able to collect that very soon". She smiled. "Are there any questions?". Charles and Joanne shook their heads. "It's all clear, thank you". Charles said. "Alright, we wish you a nice stay". The woman turned around and left the apartment. At the same time, the staff of the building came to bring their suitcases, unloading them in the living room so they could put them away themselves. "Collect your stuff, alright? You can take them to your room". Joanne told the boys, who went to take their trolleys to the bedroom that was assigned to them. They rushed to get into the room, giggling as they jumped on the beds. Joanne moved to the windows, looking at the incredible view. "Charles...". She sighed, feeling his arms wrap around her waist, pulling her back into his chest. "Do you like it, darling?". He asked, kissing her cheek.
