Joanne was the first one to wake up this time. She opened her eyes and felt his arm tightening around her waist. She turned around in his embrace, humming contently when feeling his body heat against hers. She was wearing one of his button ups and the white material felt soft and light on her skin. Joanne looked at his handsome face, his eyes still closed and his voluminous lashes nearly touching his cheeks. His lips were plump and naturally a deep pink, the hairs of his scruff forming a contrast around his lips and on his jaws. The duvet has been pushed down to his waist, his pattern of abdomen clearly visible and she gnawed on her bottom lip at the sight of his great physique. By the golden lights of the sun, she could tell it wasn't very late in the morning. Joanne let her hand wander up his chest, tracing the dips of his collarbones and eventually the shape of his jaw.

Her nails tickles slightly against his skin and his eyelashes fluttered as he started to wake up. Charles peaked at her with his sparkling eyes and he took her hand in his, pressing his lips to her fingertips. "It's still early, isn't it?". He asked, his voice gravely with sleep and it caused the goosebumps to rise upon her body. "I think so". Joanne replied. "Hmm, good". Charles hummed, his fingers that rested on her hip softly drew patterns over her skin. He folded their hands over his heart and Joanne felt it beating underneath his chest. They remained silent and Charles looked down at her, watching her hand gently pull away from his, but only to rest on his abdomen next, her fingertips tracing the muscles. She looks so beautiful in one of his shirts. His eyes drifted down to her neck, the swell of her cleavage and her breasts that rested against the white material of the shirt. He loved how the white looked so gorgeous on her dark skin, with her onyx hair draped slightly over it.

"You look so good, Charles". Joanne sighed. "I didn't expect to get a boyfriend that handsome after Liam's father and I split". She said with a giggle, causing a grin to curl his lips. "Really?". Charles asked. "I thought you could get any man". He said. "You're the most beautiful woman I've ever seen". He nuzzled his nose against hers and she chuckled, blushing at the tender moment. "I can't wait to get away with the four of us". Charles sighed, the fingers of his other hand moving through her hair. She smiled at him, looking at his still sleepy face. "I think I'm ready to move in with you when we get back from Australia". Joanne said, gazing into his eyes. Charles' smile widened and his arms curled around her to pull her even closer. He gently moved to hover over her, kissing her firmly. Joanne's thumbs caressed his cheeks when he parted slightly from her. "I'll discuss it with Liam, although I don't think he'll have to discuss about it for a long time". Charles chuckled at what she said, feeling her hands moving to his shoulders and biceps next.

"I'm impatient for all of it to happen, Joanne". He breathed, pressing soft kisses to her collarbones. "I hope I'm not pushing you". He said then. Joanne shook her head. "You're not". She replied. "I just didn't need much time to decide what I wanted when I'm feeling magical each time I'm with you". Joanne told him, making his heart swell in his chest. "I'm happy". Charles said. "I've never been happier than with you". He smiled, kissing her lips one more time before shifting to lay beside her, his head propped up on his elbow. "Are you hungry?". He asked after a moment of silence. "I can ask the kitchen to prepare breakfast". Charles said while his eyes glided over her face. "What's the time?". She asked and he briefly reached out for his phone on the nightstand. "Half past eight". He said. "We can go for breakfast, yes". Joanne nodded. "Hmm". He hummed, placing his phone back on the nightstand. "What?". She asked at his humming. "I was hoping you'd go for breakfast in bed". Charles said with a boyish grin, his hand trailing up her thigh under the sheets.

Joanne laughed and slapped his hand away. "Absolutely not". Charles smiled at her joyful face and leaned forward to kiss her again.

"Boys, there's something I'd like to tell you". Charles said while he helped Jules to not empty the complete content of the sirup container on his pancakes. "Joanne and Liam will be moving in with us this summer". The pancakes were long forgotten when the two kids looked up in surprise. "Really, mom?!". Liam exclaimed. "We're going to live here forever?". He asked next. Joanne laughed at his words. "Well, forever is very long". She replied first. "But we will spend our time after school here from the summer on, if you want that too of course". Joanne said. "Hell yes!". Liam shouted and the kids were hysterical about the fact that they'd get to spend even more time together. Charles and Joanne looked at each other while shaking their heads. "But for now we'll still live separately, alright?". Joanne said as the boys calmed down. "You have something to look forward to". Charles smiled, sitting back down after he got the jug of orange juice.
