Joanne silently looked at her reflection in the mirror, her hand holding the curling iron while a strand of her hair was wrapped around it. She curled her onyx hair to a soft wave that would fit the summer breeze. She let her hair down fully. Only a couple strands left to go. She turned her head as she looked at her hair, content with the result. She had done her make up already, keeping it light and focussing on her eyes to let them sparkle with a purple shimmer that would fit the colours of her entire appearance this evening. Joanne and Charles weren't going to be there with the ceremony, that was only for close friends and family, however they were of course invited to the party and Joanne looked forward to meet the newly weds. She let go of her hair and turned the curling iron off, letting it cool down before wrapping the plug wire around it and leaving it somewhere it wouldn't get wet in the bathroom. She used some argan oil cream afterwards and some hairspray for extra hold.

She only had to put on her shoes next and she would be ready to go. Charles had offered to get ready first so he could help Liam and Jules while she had the bathroom to herself. Joanne thought it had been the perfect idea and she had gotten showered and dressed meanwhile. She made her way to the shared bedroom of their rental apartment and plucked her perfume bottle from her nightstand, spritzing some of it on her neck and her wrists. Joanne took the silver heeled sandals from her suitcase, closing the straps around her ankles. She checked her dress in the body-length mirror in the corner and adjusted the lilac material of her dress here and there. It was absolutely stunning. She loved the halter top model and the way the dress accentuated her slim waist, fell down her curves and left a playful slit on her right leg. She reached for her clutch and she took it with her, putting her phone in it and some other, small essentials. Joanne moved into the living room as she adjusted her earrings, drawing the attention of Charles.

Charles was breathless when he saw her and he realized she had been right about what she said last night when he called her beautiful, that he should see her in this dress. He was sure she could wear any type of dress in any colour and she'd still be gorgeous, but this one was outstanding and took away every word he wanted to say. "Darling". He sighed, his hand reaching out for hers and she took it with a smile. Charles let her slowly twirl around in front of him. "Senza parole...". [Lost for words] He muttered, kissing her softly when he drew her into his chest. "I could say the same". She mused, her palms smoothing out the material of his crisp white button-up, the black Armani suit measured just for him and fitting perfectly in every way possible. His slacks were tight in all the right places and he looked so devilishy good it was nearly unfair. "Daniel has sent a driver to pick us up". Charles announced next, pulling them both from the cloud nine moment.

"He's waiting for us just yet". Charles' hand remained on her lower back as he turned around to look at Liam and Jules, who barely seemed to be able to pull away from their iPad. "Guys, let's go". He said and they immediately got up, looking like two handsome boys with their neat clothes too. Everything was settled for the children attending the wedding party. They were going to be entertained by various games and a kids foam party, they'd get plenty to eat and they have set up tents so the kids can go camping and sleep there for a night. Every parent had to be relieved that they didn't have to watch their children while they were slowly getting drunk. Joanne didn't think 'relief' was the right word to call it, but it felt more free to be an adult at a wedding with a class of wine, speaking and meeting with other people without having to entertain her son at the same time. And she thought it would be a great opportunity for Liam and Jules to make some friends.

The pair and their kids went down to the main floor by elevator, seeing a black car outside that was ready for them. The driver asked for Charles' name as confirmation and Joanne got on the backseat with the kids as they took off to Daniel and Elina's wedding.
