After having a moment to myself to think about that day, I got up and made my way downstairs. This visitor clearly disnt have good news, since logan did say terrible news. What if this visitor was going to tell me Harper was dead. What if it was someone sent to give me a message from her kidnappers.
I quickly pick up the pace and soon I reach the foyer
"What the fuck are you doing here" I ask looking at the person stood waiting for me. How dare she come here. I should kill her for what she did. "Good to see you as well james" she says smiling as if nothing had happened.
"What the hell is she doing here" I look and see max had entered. Well this looks bad.
"I asked her the same thing moments ago" I say glaring at her.
"Well did she answer" max said, hatred filled his voice.
"I'm here because I want you back James, I've given you a few years to cool down, now we can be together" she said. I felt nothing but guilt towards max, he was stood watching this scene. "Too bad I have a girlfriend" I say walking past her and to max. "Then where is she, shes not here, you're lying" she all but shrieked. "Hes not lying, they are super cute together, goals actually" max said I couldnt help but laugh. Max was definitely dedicated to mine and Harpers relationship. "Well that's a shame but I guess it's for the best, after all I've always loved you max" she said. Wtf. Was she seriously moving straight onto max. Pathetic and desperate. "Oh darling of course I love you, I always have" max says. What the fuck is happening.
"Max a word please" I say and he agrees and walks with me to my office but I notice him wink.
I closed the door and locked it before turning back to him.
"What the hell" I practically shout.
"Chill man, I'm not serious, shes a desperate bitch but anyway she just turned up now. Shes up to something and I'm gonna find out what" he says like it was no big deal. He was right though, she was up to something she always was. I wonder what Harper would think if she was here. Was she even alive...no I cant think that.
"James" max says concerned, I guess I drifted into thought for a moment.
"Sorry man, hyst be careful though" I tell him. "Always am, I'm sure you have noticed I like jess anyway so this is honestly just a job to find out what shes up too" he said and I sigh. This was fucked up.
"Its aria, shes always up to something"
