The ball

After I spent the whole "day" with my mother, brother and Everest I had to return to my room because the sun started setting, and I don't want a hand print over my cheeks,
Everest shrunk to her former size and walked back with me to my room, I let her sleep beside me since my bed is so huge,
I went to the bathroom and changed to my night gown, brushed my teeth and went to bed.

...4 days later...

things were going fine with everest, we would spend half the day in my garden caring for my plants, and the rest, i would let everest fly with me on her, and luckily my father hasn't found her yet.

I awoke from my slumber and looked to Everest, still sleeping.
I got up and went to my bathroom, I looked at the sinks mirror and remembered today's event
"Liam's birthday"
Liam was turning 1231(27 years old-ish) and the whole kingdom is attending this celebration, but like every other celebration I wouldn't attend because "I would destroy everything" my father always says, so I gave up trying to convince him "well, I still have a gift for you Liam" I said remembering my gift for him( no I'm not going to tell you, read to find out),I dressed for the day and waited for my breakfast.

Everest woke up and went for her morning fly, but i told her that she can spend the day on her own if she wants, and flew away

A knock came from the door "come in" I said and found my brother coming in with my tray instead of the maids that usually deliver my food

"good morning sister!"
He said his voice beaming with happiness ,

"good morning, and happy birthday brother! i replied while engulfing him in a big hug,
"I have some amazing news for you!" he said with some mischief in his eyes,
"and what are these good news?"
i asked thinking that maybe he found the book that i wanted for a long time in another realm, or maybe a new plant, but i did not expect what he said nex at all;

"father allowed you to come to the ball!"

i just stood there with my jaw dropped, "what?!" i asked thinking i misheard him
"i said that you are coming to the ball for my birthday!"

"what?, how did father agree?, he never lets people get even a glimpse of me, how can he allow me to go to the ball?!"
i asked a little confused
"i convinced him to let you come, don't ask how" he said grinning,

i couldn't say anything, so i went for an even bigger hug and whispered trying to not cry "thank you brother"

"are you crying" he asked surprised,
"of course i'm crying!"
"well then you better get ready, i can't wait for the kingdom so see my little sister, mother is coming to help you okay?" he said ruffling my hair,
"okay, thank you Liam"
"you're welcome celeste"
and with that he left my chamber.

My mother came two hours later "hello sweetie, did you hear the news?!"
she asked
"yes!, but i'm still working on believing it" i said making both of us laugh,
"well i ordered for a gown to be made for you, fit for a princess, it should be ready in a short amount of time"my mother said
"thank you mother, if you don't mind me asking what color is it?" i asked,
"no i'm not telling you, it's a surprise!" she replied
"okay, fine" i said a little frustrated, we sat talking for a awhile until we herd a knock on the doors

"come in" my mother said,
the doors opened and four maids came in! two carrying a huge box, and the other two were carrying two smaller boxes.

"Your majesties" one of them said that had blonde hair and brown eyes while bowing, the other three following
"the gown is ready, shall we prepare you for the ball?" the same maid asked,
"yes please Mayra" my mother replied 'i suppose that's her name'
"as you wish my queen" once she said that all the other maids started to prepare their things, one of them came to me and said "would you like a bath your majesty?" she asked a little nervous,
"yes please" she nodded and went to my bathroom,
"well i leave you in there care, i have to go and get ready myself"
my mother said to me, "of course mother"
i replied watching her walk out the door,
i turned to the maids and said
"i don't think i know your names?"
i said hopping they would tell me their names,
the blonde woman wich i assumed was the oldest turned to me and said
"no your majesty, i'm Mayra, this is Lydian.." she pointed to a younger girl which had brown hair and hazel eyes that smiled and bowed to me
