Chapter 41

[In Tommy's POV]

"Remember when we first met?" Adam asked me. His head rested in his hand, elbow in the pillow. I snuggled closer to him. The sheets were wrapped around our entangled bodies. I nodded my head into Adam's chest. "You walked in, your guitar slung over your shoulder. Your hair rested so gently on your cheek." Adam reminisced.

I couldn't help but giggle. It's always cute how in depth Adam gets when talking about me. " 'Hi, I'm Adam Lambert', you said." I told him.

"From the moment that I shook your hand, I knew that you were special." From the sound of his voice, I could tell that he was smiling. Adam's warm chest comforted me. I had never thought that I'd see Adam in my apartment ever again. Never thought I'd see him in my bed, shirtless, holding me tight.

"What are we going to do about Sauli?" I asked. Adam put his finger over my mouth.

"Shh, not now." I kissed his finger and thought more about the first time that we met.

"What did you first think about me?" Adam asked, almost reading my mind.

In a hushed whisper, I answered, "You were beautiful. Somehow, in that moment, I didn't care about being straight. I longed to feel your fingertips..." My voice drifted off.

Adam's cologne fogged my mind from thinking clearly. That smell that puts me under his spell.

"Adam, where do we stand?" I asked quietly. Adam sat up in bed.

"Where do you want to stand?" He asked. I sat up next to him, grabbing his hand.

"I love you so much." I leaned over and pulled my old ring out of my pant pocket. "I've never gotten rid of this." I showed Adam my ring. "I've never had the guts to get rid of it. But, if it's okay with you; I think I want to wear it again."

Adam took the ring from me and slid it back onto my ring finger. If this were a movie, there would be trumpets and a shining light on the ring. Kinda like in Harry Potter when he gets his wand. We looked up into each other's eyes.

"You look so beautiful without any makeup." I laughed at Adam's moment-killer comment. He took my head in his hands and kissed me. I've never felt more right.
