Chapter 42

[In Adam's POV]

"It's been a very hectic few months, hasn't it?" I laughed. The Glamberts agreed. "And I know that we as a glamily have been through a lot. But I have some news." I waited, building suspense. "Tommy and I are engaged." The Glamberts were so loud that I thought I'd never hear again. I looked over to Tommy.

Tommy laid his guitar down and came over and sat on the edge of the stage with me. He rested his head on my shoulder. It felt like hours before I could speak again.

"And this is real this time. Like I said, we've been through a lot. And as soon as this tour is over, we're gonna get married." The rest of the concert went so well. Everyone was so energetic. The meet and greet afterward was three hours longer than it usually is. Coming down from an adrenaline rush, I headed back to my hotel room.

" 'Night Ashley." I said, hugging her.

" 'Night Adam. I'm proud of you." Ashley said, kissing my cheek.

I turned around and opened the door to my room. After closing the door, Tommy came right up to me and wrapped his arms around the middle of my back. He rested his head on my chest.

"Thank you." He said, referring to me telling everyone. He sniffled.

"Are you crying?" I lifted his head up so that he could look at me. Tears spilled from his eyes.

"I'm just so happy." He smiled. I hugged him tighter. As I placed my lips to his, the door slammed open.

"Let's talk." An angry Sauli stood in the doorway.
