“A-are you Min Yoongi?” Minji stutters out while she looks down at the floor.

Just great. She’s terrified of me, but then again it doesn’t surprise me that much. “That’s me. I guess you’re Song Minji.”

“Y-yes.” She stuttered again . A lot of people would find it cute that a  girl stutters but I think it’s just really annoying.

When you first look at Minji I guess a lot of people would find her cute. She has long dark brown hair, to a point that it could be mistaken for black hair, with bangs and these big dark brown eyes. When she’s not looking down at the floor you can see she has a delicate pretty face that a lot of guys like, but I know it’s all a trick. No matter how pretty a girl is they are all trouble in my eyes.

“So, Song Minji what kind of community service are we going to be doing together?” I’m trying to get her to stop being so nervous around me. She won’t even look at my face which irritates me. I must have really scared her this morning.

“Um, well it depends on who needs help that day. S-sometimes the animal shelter needs help or the soup kitchen needs help handing out food to people. Other days we just get calls to help p-people clean their homes if they are unable to.” She gets enough courage to look up at me and smile just a little, only enough to turn up the corners of her mouth.

“Okay so what three days do I have to work and for how long?” I know it sounds like I’m questioning her a lot but the least amount of work I do the better even if it means scaring her I’ll do anything to get out of this.

“Um, I need the most help on Monday, Thursday and Saturday.” She said, finally getting out something without stuttering.

“What!” I shout a little louder than I should have. Saturday? Out of all the days she could have said it had to be Saturday. That’s the only day of the week I get to work on my music.

She flinched and took a step back from me. “I-it’s the only days I need help. I’m s-sorry.” Her stuttering is only getting worse.

I rub my forehead with my head to try and ease the migraine I feel coming on. I try to tell myself it’s not her fault, it’s Namjoons. If only he hadn’t started that stupid fight with me.

“Okay.” I try to say as calmly as possible. “I’ll give you my phone number so just call me when I have to work.” I take out my phone and ask for her number. When we’re done exchanging numbers I walk out of the office without looking back. I need to find Namjoon.

When I get to my classroom it’s almost the end of second period so I wait outside for the bell to ring. As soon as the bell rings the doors to the classroom opens and people start to file out to spend their short break before next period. I start to scan the crowd for the white hair that means Namjoon is is there. After a few minutes I spot him walking arrogantly with his group of snabby friends in the mix, going down the hall. I walk quickly down the hall to catch up to him and when I get there I break through his friends. Grab him by the collar and push him up against the lockers.

“Do you have any idea what you have gotten me into?” I get close to his face and scream at him to relieve my anger.

“What is it Yoongi? Can’t you stand a little community service with a girl?” He smirks at me and I feel my anger getting even worse. I wasn’t scared of him to be honest even if he was twice my height. “I think you’re just embarrassed that you can’t even talk to a girl without making them cry. At least this way you’ll know what it’s like to be around one.” He laughs in a smart tone and I get ready to throw him to the ground. “Not so fast little Yoongi, look around you.” When I turn around I see everyone in the hall is staring at us.

I look back at Namjoon and let my hands fall from his collar. “That’s right Yoongi, you can’t touch me.” Namjoon fixes his collar and starts to walk down the hall.

As soon as he is out of sight I turn around and punch the lockers as hard as I can, making a dent, to get out some of my anger. Pain shoots up my arm but I don’t care. Every time I see that guy it starts a fight.

“Sunbae!” Someone comes running down the hall and stops in front of me. When I look at him I realize it’s Taehyung.

Taehyung is in the year below me and he for some reason he always seems to follow me around when he gets the chance. I mean he’s cute but it’s really annoying to have a kid follow you around all the time.

“ I heard you have to do community service with Minji.” He says out of breath. How does everyone already know about this it’s only been like ten minutes. But then again, Namjoon probably gossiped it around school in a matter of minutes.

“Yah, and?” I try to sound as annoyed as possible to hope he gets the hint.

He catches his breath one last time. “Minji is like the cutest girl in the entire school. I can’t believe how lucky you are.” Of course it’s about this. I roll my eyes and answered.

“Taehyung, I couldn’t care less if she’s the cutest girl in the whole world. She’s ruining my life.” Taehyung’s eyes get really wide and he looks behind me.

Before I even turn around I know what I’m going to see, but I turn around anyways. When I look at what’s behind me I groan internally and face palm myself mentally. Standing behind me in all her glory is the cutest girl in school, crying, for the second time today.

Time for some damage control, I tell myself. I grab her by the wrist and pull her behind me as I walk towards the front door of the school.
