While I was getting ready for school my phone rang across the room. With my pants half way on I ran to the other side of the room and answered the phone.

“Hello.” I said while I finished putting on my pants.

“Yoongi. I called to make sure you’re going to school.” I smiled at the sound of Minji’s voice.

“Yes I’m getting ready now, no need to worry.” I grabbed the jacket of my uniform and put it on. I looked around for my bag and remembered I had left it at school.

“Um, well I’ll see you there.” I paused and stood at the door of my room.

“What do you mean you’ll see me there? You’re in the hospital.”

She didn’t answer for a few seconds. “They’re releasing me right now so I’m just going to school.”

I let out a sigh. “You can’t come to school Minji.”

“Yoongi I already missed yesterday.” She whined.

I rolled my eyes even though she couldn’t see me. “If you show up at school I’ll just take you home.”

I heard Minji muttering to herself before she said anything. “But Oppa! I need to go to school! I promise I’m fine.”

No no no. Oppa won’t work this time. “Minji you can’t go to school you need to get rest.”

“Oppa. I wanna see you though.” Oh no. I can’t stand up against the cute for long. Cuteness is my mortal weakness.

I groaned. “Well just meet me at my house and we’ll walk to school together.”

She laughed a little. “I’m already waiting for you outside.”

I laughed and hung up the phone and rushed outside. I heard my mom yelling at me to make sure I came home after school. When I opened the door Minji was waiting and she smiled at me.

“Oppa!” She said and grabbed my arm. “Thanks for walking me to school.”

I laughed at her fake cute act. I took her hand in mine and laced my fingers through hers. We walked the whole way to school like that. It felt nice to for once just be able to spend time together.

        “Yoongi?” Minji said quietly.

I looked over at her. “What is it?”

She looked back at me for a few seconds. “Did you take care of everything with Namjoon.”

I just shook my head. “I planned on talking to him soon but I don’t think it’s the right time.”

She smiled at me. “Then we can go on a date this afternoon right?”

I looked at the ground. “Um, about that. My mom grounded me until graduation.”

Minji laughed at me. “I’ll talk to her after school.”

“You can try but my mom’s really stubborn just like you.” I smiled at her.

“Then we’ll have something in common.” She said and smiled back at me.

We walked the rest of the way to school in silence.

When we arrived at school we went our separate ways. I walked into my classroom and walked to my desk to look for my bag I had left at school the day before. It was in the same spot I had left it luckily. I grabbed it and put it on top of my desk so I could get my books out. When I opened it up a horrible smell seemed to hit me in the face. I looked through my bag and found a old rotten sandwich sitting in it. I sighed and walked over to the trash can and threw my entire bag away. It’s not like I used my books any way.

After I got rid of that horrible bag I sat down in my seat and watched all the people coming and going. I saw the good kids studying at their desks and the “bad boys” sitting on their desks in a corner looking at the popular girls that were standing across the room gossiping about who was dating who. And last but not least was Namjoon and his group of friends. When I looked at Namjoon I caught him staring at me in shock. That’s how I knew he was the one that had put the sandwich in my bag.

“Thanks for the sandwich.” I yelled at him across the room.

Namjoon’s mouth fell open and I laughed before putting my head down on my desk to take a nap. I stayed that way until class started. For once in my life I actually paid attention and tried to understand the lesson even if I had thrown my books away. Maybe school wouldn’t be so bad if I tried just a little harder. I smiled to myself when I thought of the kind of reaction Minji would have if she knew what I was thinking. It would probably be along the lines of a laugh or a really happy girly reaction.

After class ended I started to make my way towards Taehyung and Minji’s classroom. I wanted to hang out with Taehyung and Minji before the next class started and I had to try and learn something. On my way there I ran into Namjoon and he stopped me.

“I saw you came to school today with Minji.” Namjoon said while trying to death glare me.

I smiled at him. “Ya, I did. We are dating after all.”

I walked past him towards Minji and Taehyung who were now talking together at the end of the hall. When I was at the end of the hall I turned around and saw Namjoon stare at us for awhile before walking off down the hall.

I shook my head at him. If he got his act together he wouldn’t be such a bad person and maybe we could make a song together one day. I laughed at the thought.

I walked over to Minji and Taehyung and threw one arm around Taehyung’s shoulders.

“How are you guys?” I asked and ruffled Taehyung’s hair some.

Taehyung looked at me like I had completely lost my mind. “Hyung, are you okay?”

“Of course I’m okay.” I said and walked over to Minji now. “I mean Minji’s here you’re here the only thing that’s missing is Seokjin.”

I laced my fingers through Minji’s and Taehyung’s eyes widened. “Hyung are you showing affection in public?”

“Hey!” I yelled and Taehyung and Minji laughed.

We all talked for the rest of the break and when it was time to go back to class we all agreed to eat lunch together later which is something I have never done before. Really I had never had anyone to eat lunch with since Seokjin graduated and eating lunch with Seokjin would be different than eating lunch with Minji right?
