“I need you to stay away from Minji.” Namjoon said.

My anger was only getting worse by the second. “Why would I have to do that?”

Namjoon glared at me and got closer to my face. “Because you stole her from me in the first place.” I looked back at him in shock. “What you saw at the club was me taking back what was mine.”

What did that mean? Did he go after Minji? “I don’t know what you’re talking about but you don’t own Minji.”

“Minji was mine until you came along and took her.” I could tell Namjoon was getting mad.

I pushed Namjoon away from me. “I didn’t take Minji from you, she left you and I don’t have anything to do with Minji so it’s not my business.”

I walked past Namjoon and back into the classroom. Whatever issues he had with Minji didn’t involve me.

Class started a few minutes later and I got ready to take a nap when one of the office workers came into the classroom and said I had to go to the principal’s office. I groaned and started the familiar walk to the office.

Minji must have said something to the principal about me doing my community service. That stupid girl. Well at least this time I hadn’t been in a fight so it’s not like he could expel me.

When I reached the office I walked in and immediately sat down on one of the big leather chairs in front of the desk. The principal only glares at me for a few seconds before he seems to give up trying to intimidate me.

“So Yoongi, has community service been going well.” I looked up at the principal in shock. I thought I had been called her because Minji had told him I was doing a horrible job.

“Um, sure I guess.” I managed to mutter.

"I hope you are learning things from this because Ms.Song has only said you've been working hard. Since she hasn’t complained I guess maybe you are doing better. Continue to do your work well and I won’t have to worry about you being expelled.” The principal gave me one last look and then sent me away to go back to class.

I didn’t go back to class.

I walked to the hallway where most of the younger students had class. Minji had to be here if she had talked to the principal. I wanted to know why she hadn’t complained about me. Did she actually think I was still going to help her? Maybe she thought I wasn’t mad anymore? Either way I had to find her and clear this up. I know Taehyung said she wasn’t but she had to be. I waited in the hall for the students to be dismissed and when the students came out I looked for her.

“Hyung. Why aren’t you in class?” I spun around and saw Taehyung standing behind me.

“Taehyung. Where is Minji?” He looked at me like I was crazy

“I told you earlier, she isn’t here.” I grabbed his shoulders in a tight grip.

“Then where does she live?” Taehyung muttered out an address and I left not worrying about skipping class or even getting my bag. I had to make sure Minji knew not to mess with me any more.

Minji lived close to the neighborhood where we had helped the old grandmother. I knew the way really well so I took my time and enjoyed the scenery most of the way. It didn’t matter when I got there I could still yell at her. When I got to her house no one was home so I planned on waiting but then I thought of the grandmother we had helped.

I went back the way I had come towards the grandmother’s house. I would feel bad if I yelled at Minji in front of the grandmother but there was no way I was going to be helping Minji any more because I wanted her out of my life for good.

When I reached the grandmothers house and knocked on the door. I tried my best to wait patiently because I knew it would be hard for the grandmother to come to the door quickly. When she opened the door she smiled and told me to come in. I started to object but she just told me to come in anyway.

"How are you and your girlfriend doing?" The grandmother asked as she sat down on her old worn out couch.

I'm too impatient to correct the grandmother so I just answer her. "Grandmother, I'm actually looking for her. Has she come by here at all?"

The grandmother thought for a minute before answering. "She hasn't come by today but she always come by on Monday and Saturday to help me." Today is Monday so maybe I would be able to find her if I waited around here. It’s not like this was an uncomfortable place to wait but when I looked back at the grandmother she was studying my face. "You two got in a fight didn't you?"

I was shocked. I looked at the grandmother and tried to figure out how she knew but she just smiled at me.

"You look like a stubborn young man. I bet you too got in a fight and you haven't seen her since." The grandmother just shook her head. "My husband did that all the time when we fought and when he finally decided he was ready to listen to what I had to say I was still right by his side." She looked at me. "Now I had to stay with him because we were married but that sweet young lady doesn't have to stay with you so you need to stop being so stubborn."

I laughed a little at the grandmother's words. "Grandmother, what if she did something really bad?" I asked because really I wasn't ready to forgive Minji any time soon.

The grandmother thought for a minute before answering. "Well young man you need to hear what she has to say before you can say she did something really bad."

I paused and thought about it. I hadn't heard Minji's side of the story but I had seen everything with my own eyes. She had thrown me out like garbage for Namjoon. She couldn’t actually have a reason for being with him after everything he had done to her, so I just smiled at the grandmother. There was no way I could forgive Minji but the grandmother didn't need to know that.

Me and the grandmother talked for awhile more. She talked about her husband and the kind of marriage they had. It was a nice marriage. It wasn’t a perfect marriage because no marriage is but it was very nice. They fought just like any other married couple but they always made up and I could tell that they really did love each other. I know a lot of people would have liked a marriage like that but I knew there was a very low possibility of it ever happening. I know I would never find anything like that because I know how girls actually are.

After me and the grandmother had talked for a long time I finally decided I would just spend the rest of the day here and help her. I didn’t usually do nice things for people but I really liked the grandmother even if she was confused about me and Minji.

I grabbed a trash bag and some gloves and headed outside to clean up all the trash that people had thrown in to the grandmother’s front yard. There were things like empty bottles and wrappers from various things. There were also things that I didn’t even know what they were and that kind of freaked me out a little. I worked for a while and then when I was tired I sat down on the lawn to take a break.

It was hot outside and very muggy so I was really uncomfortable in my uniform. I looked at my phone and saw I had been here for several hours and school was already over. I’m sure I’ll get in trouble tomorrow but I’m not going to worry about it. The principal probably thought I was helping Minji with community service or something.

I sat there for a little while longer and enjoyed resting. Right when I got up from the ground I saw someone walking towards the house. When they got close enough for me to see them I noticed  it was Minji. As soon as she recognized me she stopped where she was and just stared at me. I felt all the anger that I had felt at the club come back.
