"I am here!" What sounded like All-Might's voice came through the wall. "Coming through the door like a hero!" With that, All-Might burst through the door and stood there. Everyone got really excited over him, but Aki just smiled. "Welcome to the most important class in UA high. Think of it as heroing 101! Here you will learn the basics of being a pro, and what it means to fight for the name of good! Let's get into it! Today's lesson is fight training! But one of the keys to being a hero is...looking good! These were designed for you based on your quirk registration forms, and the request was sent in before school started. Get yourself suited up, then meet me at training ground beta."
Aki had designed a hero costume that looked very casual. It was a yellow sweatshirt and leggings. But he was also wearing special gloves that helped him control his quirk when it came out of his hands, as well as a sort of purse filled with water with a straw going up against his arm so that he wouldn't get dehydrated and pass out in the middle of a battle.
When we all arrived at the training ground, All-Might was complimenting us for how cool we looked. Apparently we were being split into teams of two, and each team was against another. One team was portrayed as a villain, and the others, heroes.
The villains have hidden a nuke somewhere in the building. The heroes have to stop them by either catching both of the villains or touching the nuke. The villains win if they capture the heroes.
"Time is limited and we'll choose teams by picking lots." All-Might was explaining to them.
"Isn't there a better way of doing this?" Iida was complaining, but Aki jumped in and proved him wrong.
"Well, sometimes heroes have to pair up with each other on the spot. So I guess this signifies that."
"Yes, I see. Life is a random series of events. Excuse my rudeness!" That last part he said to All-Might.
Aki got paired up with Ojiro, the tail man. He saw that Deku got paired up with Uraraka. That's lucky. I wish I was working with someone I knew. I guess Ojiro's okay.
Deku and Uraraka were up first and they were up against Bakugo and Iida. Deku against Bakugo? He's going to get killed!
He almost did too. The rest of the teams were set up to be able to watch the groups while they were fighting. Deku and Uraraka ended up winning by using his quirk to send a massive air blast into the air, giving Uraraka some things to throw and distract Iida and get her hands on the nuke, ending the battle.
Up next was Aki and Ojiro, who were up against 轟焦凍(Shoto Todoroki) and 障子目蔵(Mezo Shoji). Ojiro suggested that they took their shoes off, to make sure that they were silent.
"Good idea," Aki nodded and proceeded to do so.
This simulator was...interesting for Aki. It's as if he was a hero and facing his own brother. His brother wouldn't do this sort of thing, but it was still too realistic for Aki. What if there was a situation in which Aki was against his brother? Would Aki be able to possibly hurt him, just to capture him?
Suddenly ice crawling up Aki's feet froze him to the ground. He looked around to see ice all up the wall and ceiling. He looked down the hallway and saw the boy, Todoroki, coming.
"Your quirk...it's so strong," Ojiro commented next to Aki.
"I would suggest not trying to pry your feet off. Doing so could rip the skin off and make it hard for you to fight." He walked right past Ojiro placing his hand on the payload, making the villains win.
Not too long after winning, Todoroki placed his left hand on the wall, melting the ice.
"You have a fire quirk as well?" Aki gasped. No wonder he was one of the people who got in based on recommendation. He would be a really good hero. Almost unbeatable.
Maybe this was some sort of symbolism, that Aki was destined to face his brother someday. And possibly fail.
