"The loneliest moment in someone's life is when they are watching their whole world fall apart, and all they can do is to stare blankly" - F. Scott Fitzgerald

Tracey's mansion was a large and substantial mansion suitated in one of the most beautiful districts in Town. Earlier today, we had been packing my luggages into her car and I still can't believe that I'll be living in this heavenly made mansion. I couldn't stand my house anymore, it was affecting my mental health and I couldn't bear it anymore. The Lord knows that if I had spent one more week alone in that place, my rage would probably burn the whole house down including myself. I haven't seen my Mum in days too, she still couldn't believe that Joseph wasn't home yet, she wouldn't even check me in my room anymore.

She just comes home for a minute or two and leaves till I hear her footsteps again. I never tried to come out of my room as well because I am not so sure on how she is going to react if she realized that I'm pregnant with all of the pressure on her. And it's even worse that the fucking bastard in me is for her supposed missing husband. She'd probably kill herself.

"Okay. I think that's it." I heard Tracey close up the booth of her car and Diane helped to carry my last box away. Tracey has earlier discussed with her Nanny about me and being the most caring woman in the world, she couldn't wait to let me in.

I gazed at the red brick victorian mansion that looked proudly behind tall and freaky iron gates. It was flanked by rows of skeletal trees that swayed gently to the chilly autumn wind. I removed my bun and let my hair loose.

"Come on, Let's go in" Tracey locked the door of the car and dusted invisible dirts from her mini skirt and led me elegantly into her house. I've been here a dozen times and the memories of my birthday party cannot be forgotten. However, it seemed like today was my first time of being here.

"Oh dear. I'm so happy to see you!" Miss Marie exclaimed as soon as she saw me. Her grey hair was neatly packed in a bun. She had wrinkles on her forehead and deeply etched dimples at both cheeks that were still visible even from her aging face, making her smile look so genuine and plain. She was moderately fat, simple and high-minded.

"I'm happy to see you too, Miss Marie"

"What would you like to eat?"

"Nothing. I'm not hungry but thank you."

"Now, how would you say that, dear? You must eat at all times to stay healthy for you" she looked at my face nervously before she said "-and your baby"

"No really,I'm not hungry."

"You know how much I know about your love for Waffles."

" And Fried Chicken!" Diane called from the kitchen.

I laughed briefly, they knew me so well. I was even more surprised when Miss Marie pulled me into a hug. "Everything is going to be fine dear." She whispered quietly into my ears. I was extremely emotional to be aware that there were people in the world who still gave an actual fuck about me and I swear that a tear rolled down my cheek which I quickly brushed off. I hugged her back and released myself. "Thank you" I whispered back.

"Okay! Enough of these touchy moments. It's time to show you your room,Alyssa."

We climbed the long and extensive staircase until Tracey finally opened the door to my supposed room. I was taken aback with what I met in front of me. The room was purple with beautiful murals on the wall, hand painted by people who definitely knew what they were doing. It was luxurious and superb. The beautiful high arched windows allowed sunlight to flood the room. Occasionally, you could see a bird or plane fly by in the distance. The sky and the high buildings served as a fantastic view for the background.
