Chapter 9: Relapse

TW: Physical abuse, Homophobia and use of the word fagg*t in a negative way.

You had a peaceful sleep, though a certain purple-haired panta gremlin featured a lot. It was the first night in a while where you weren't woken by unpleasant episodes. This time you were woken by a knock at the door. You glanced at the clock next to your bed.7:38. You tried to say something along the lines of, 'Coming!' but it sounded more like 'mmmphgh.' You opened the door and stared at the short boy in front of you. 

"Morning (N/N)-Chan~"

"(N/N)-Chan? When did you come up with that?" He brushed past your question like you didn't even ask it.

"(N/N)-Chan~" He said in a whiney voice while pouting. "You should give me a nickname!" His childish, cute smile returned and you couldn't help but return. "Hmmm," You raised a finger to your chin in thought before the smile slowly returned to your face. "How about, Purple, gremlin, demon, child?" You looked at him as his eyes almost instantly started to tear up.

"WAAAAHHHHHHHHH!! You're so me-" He was cut off by you wrapping your arms around him in a hug. You knew the tears were fake but you took the opportunity to hug him. You waited for the heat to depart from your cheeks before you pulled away, noting the light pink shade on his cheeks. "Nishishi~ you're so dumb. It was a lie."

You pulled an extremely over the top, shocked face. "Oh my god! REALLY!?" You just rolled your eyes at him. "So, did you have any ideas for a nickname cuz you clearly didn't like my ideas?"

"Nishishi~ I was thinking something like 'master' or 'your highness' or maybe, 'supreme overlord'?" You glared at him coldly but despite the face, you were making you had no mal intentions. "Anyways- I'm bored, let's go!" He said as he pointed down the hallway. You sighed before following him down. On the way to your unknown destination, you decided to strike up a conversation.

"Hey, Kokichi, why did you pick a horror movie yesterday if you're terrified of them?"

"Oh, ummmm- I thought that you would enjoy it." He stared at the ground a light pink colour replacing the pale one on his face.

"That's a lie right?" You knew it wasn't but you were just trying to alleviate the awkward situation you had been put in.

"Huh? Oh ya! How did you know? Awwwwww (N/N)-Chan has figured me out." He pouted over exaggeratedly.

"You never answered the question."

"It's simple really. I just wanted to snuggle with my beloved (Y/N)! I even got you to carry me back to my room, Nishishi~" You felt a mixture of both flattery and anger. I can't believe that ass made me carry him back.

"Where are we going anyway?" You tried to move on before you got either really angry or started blushing like mad.

"I don't really know. I was hoping I would think of something to do by now." You frowned at him before remembering Shuichi had opened your lab with the 'prizes'.

"We could check out my lab, if you want? I haven't been in it yet." He nodded and you pulled out your monopad to check the location. You began walking in the direction of your lab and Kokichi followed, in silence. You walked up the stairs to the second floor of the main building. After about five minutes you had arrived at your destination. You pushed the door open and immediately your eyes widened at the sight before you. The room was filled with tons and tons of equipments. There was cameras with built-in binoculars, plain binoculars, wiretaps, audio bugs, security cameras already hooked up to alarm systems, camo gear and suspension wires. You rushed over to it all, checking the camera first. You clicked the button and no surprise it snapped a picture zoomed in x20. Everything was state of the art, modern. Kokichi gave you weird looks as you ran around the room inspecting everything.
