You felt yourself slowly regain consciousness. You brain was awake but your body wasn't. After lying in the darkness for about ten minutes, trying all sorts of sleeping positions to be dragged into the darkness of sleep. Eventually though you gave up and slowly opened your eyes. The room was pitch black, despite it being almost 6 am. The faintest amount of dim, grey light shone through. Only enough to know where the window actually was. After peering into the dark void that was your room for almost two minutes you finally started to make out some of the silhouettes of objects in your room. You reached over to the lamp on the bedside table, flicking the switch. The lamp began spewing bright yellow light. It flooded the room almost instantly. It was bright but the lampshade confined it to a tolerable amount. You did your usual morning routine. Shower, brush your teeth, get dressed and go for a walk. A wave of the cool breeze hit you in the face. It was so soothing and calming. You felt your muscles instantly relax. Your mind went empty. It felt . . . nice.

You sat at a nearby bench. You sat in silence, staring o into space, allowing the thought to run rampant through your mind. All the bad thoughts tried to ruin your mood but you blocked them out. You ignored them. For the first time in a while, you were calm. After who knows how long you heard distant voices. A few minutes later Angie and Himiko walked by. They gave you a slight wave before reverting their attention to their conversation. You assumed they were going to get ready for the magic show Himiko was going to host in the gym. Himiko was quite an interesting character to you. You weren't quite sure what your opinion on her was. Though that wasn't really your fault. Tenko didn't allow anyone she deemed to be a degenerate near Himiko so you never got the chance to talk to her. Her whole 'It's maaaaaagic' schtick was funny and she seems pretty harmless.

Angie on the other hand. You were quite aware of how dangerous she is. The fact that she believes in such a crazy convoluted religion and god is not good in the current situation all of you were in. A situation of hardship and despair is the perfect place for a cult to grow. She was definitely one to watch out for. She seemed to have quite a few friends and that's all it takes. You estimated that it would take one more death and one more execution for everyone to turn to Atua and once that happens, everything goes downhill. It won't be too long until deaths are being justified by Atua wanting sacrifices. You were so caught up in your thought you didn't even notice that they had gone inside the gym meaning it's time for the show.

You waited for a few of the others to show up before you walked over to the gym. You peered inside to inspect. On one side of the room was a huge glass tank full of water. Next to it was a wooden staircase. You assumed there was a hidden passage in it as there is definitely space for one. Shuichi, Maki and Kaito were sat in three seats in the front row. Gonta was hanging up a curtain in front of the tank. Above the tank was a smaller glass box, seemingly teeming with piranhas. There were banners which read, 'The amazing Himiko's magic sow' hung on the wall. In front of the tank was Angie comforting a shaking Himiko. You kinda pitied her. She looked like a lost animal. You wanted to give her a hug. Luckily Tenko wasn't around to stop you.

"Hey Himiko, are you okay?" She turned to face you. She wasn't crying, but she looked like she could break out into tears at any moment. She was noticeably shaking. You were unsure if she would be able to pull through and perform the trick.

"Nyahaha. All is well. Atua is watching over her." "Nyeh. Is he really, then I'm sure I'll be fine." This is bad, this is very bad. If Himiko is already part of the Atua club then that means Tenko is probably next. You left them after giving Himiko a slight hug and wishing her good luck. You sat down in the back row. You had this weird feeling in the pit of your stomach. It was the same feeling you had when Rantaro showed up in the library. The feeling that something bad was going to happen. You scanned around the room looking for anything that could go wrong. There might be a body in the water tank, but that seems unlikely. There could also be one in the piranha tank. That was the most likely thing that could go wrong but for that to happen there must be something separating them. Slowly everyone made their way into the room. Everyone except Miu and Kaito was there. Kokichi sat next to you and flashed you a childish smile and his signature laugh, but before a conversation could take place Angie cleared her throat to get everyone's attention.
