Astrid POV

It was the next morning and it felt different from the rest, I something or someone was missing in this place we have been living here for almost 3years now. Hiccup, Hiccup was missing and I never thought I will felt so afraid, lonely, and weak when his not around. Running away from Berk, my home, my parents are very heart-racking but it was a good choice, I would rather run away than to fight a pointless war then again I do miss my parents at times even though that they treated me nothing more of a warrior and a medal to show off too. I have left my family behind and yet I missed Hiccup more than my family, and he only got captured yesterday!

"What are we waiting for? Next, go save Hiccup already!" I exclaim impatiently while I cross my arms and narrow my eyes, telling everyone this is a serious situation which they all know.

"I get you and Hiccup have some kind of......love interest and I ship that but you can't just attack without a plan unless you want to join Hiccup and receive the same punishment as him," Dagur said in a cold tone while I rolled my eyes when he mentions they he ship us but nodded and he was right the mission will fail and it will all be nothing. I sigh "I wish Hiccup was here" I mutter softly to myself and I think everyone heard it.

"We all do wish Hiccup was here, he's our leader, best friend.....his our family....but my brother is right, we need a plan instead of blazing in hot." Said the black hair girl who has a determined face while we hum in agreement.

"What does the plan consist of? We do not know the outline of the possible fortress where they keep him because they know Hiccup is a smart individual and they will obviously double the men and sieges at their area to keep him their from being rescue!" I sigh in defeat but I'm still not giving up until I rescue him.

"Viggo is paranoid, interesting but he is a great hunter along with his brother and Krogan and they know we have tracker class dragons, there is obviously a trap set them and if we want to occupied victory we need to out-think them" Eret piped in and we nodded. He was right, if we have a plan that is not effective we will end up killed.

We sigh in unison "we need backup, we are still outnumbered and Krogan have troops on land, air, and sea. We need all the help we can get, I will send a terror mail to Mala and the Wing Maidens and once they arrive we will discuss the plan" Heather added and place a hand on my shoulder to reassure me "Hey, it's alright, Hiccup will be fine and I got a feeling his planing on something as we speak. Just a feeling, come on his Hiccup and his as stubborn as every" she smiles weekly at me while I mirror her smile and she left to write the letters. Felt much more better.

Hiccup POV

I jolt up, fully awake and alert by the annoying voice of the yelling guard and his hammer banging the cell door. I glare at the man for his rude action while he just laughs at me and mock me for glaring at him, oh he don't know what's coming for laughing at all this raw Viking-ness.

He unlock our cell door and drag us out one by one forcefully and dump us on the dirty ground, I restrain myself to not beat him up, knowing I will not benefit from it and will mess up the plan. The patient is the key to success. I sigh and remember Harry told me that we will have mining duty until the set of dawn the other day and that leaves me with an idea for a plan.

We walk to our station and I told them to behave to let the guards lower their guard-down and when we strike they will have less time to react. We informed the others that were not in our cell and they immediately agree, some were not from Harry's tribe but they come to a point that they need to stick together.

I can smell the grinds of stone and Dragon dung around the area and fell the glaring sun cooking my skin from within my tunic and the sound of metal chains that tightly hugged on my wrists making it hard for me to expand my hand widely and the sound of dragons roars and people screaming in agony from the whips and I cringe at the sound.
