Watching a Movie Together

You were at home by yourself looking through all the DVDs you had. "Hmm, what should I watch?" you said to yourself. As you looked through another row of DVDs you found one that you wanted to watch. "Ah Gladiator! this is a good one!" you said to yourself. You opened the DVD case and placed the DVD into the DVD player and pressed play. You lied down on the couch and began to watch the movie. 

You spent the evening watching Gladiator and weren't paying attention to anything else. Suddenly, in the middle of the movie you felt a pair of lips kissing your cheek and then your neck. you tilted your head back, smiling and giggling. Knowing who it was. It was your boyfriend Marius. "What are you watching my love?" asked Marius. 

You met Marius at Lestat's chateau in Auvergne France during one of his massive gatherings, he was very kind towards you and you spent a lot of time together since then. He was surprised at how nice you were and he really enjoyed having you around. When he told you he was a vampire you weren't afraid, you knew he was a good person and that he wasn't a monster. Marius was glad you weren't afraid and has been with you ever since. Now he lives with you at your house. 

"Gladiator." you replied. He nodded and cuddled with you on the couch. You were watching it with him and he had a certain look on his face. This happened at the part when the gladiator said his name was Maximus Decimus Meridius. That was when Marius said "Ah I remember those times, and I was lucky enough to have met him." he said. Your eyes lit up. "You met him?!" you said surprised. Marius nodded. "Yes my dear, he was a brave and honorable man. And quite an impressive fighter as well." he said. You couldn't believe he had met the real Maximus, you knew he lived through the time of the Roman Empire but this was something you haven't heard before. You thought that was very interesting. "Yes, Gladiators would fight inside a grand arena. They would fight one another or big animals, people thought watching a live death was entertaining. Not to mention they were skilled in battle, especially in times of war." you said to Marius. 

Marius was very impressed with how much you knew about that era. You told him that you loved Ancient History, especially when it came to the Roman Era or Greek mythology. You had always loved it since you were a kid. Marius also mentioned his interest in the subject as well. You two had quite a lot in common. 

You spent the rest of the evening together watching the movie, which Marius really liked. He enjoyed watching the movie. But what made it even more special was that he got to watch it with you. With the girl he fell in love with and will always love for all eternity.
