Meeting him (part 3)

You are a friend of both Lestat and David, recently you had discovered that your boyfriend was having an affair with another woman. This left you heartbroken and angry, you couldn't believe that someone you had come to love would betray you. To make matters worse you were expecting a child, you found out you were expecting after seeing a positive pregnancy test. Your boyfriend was happy and was excited about it, or at least you thought he was. It turns out he really doesn't care. You broke the news to Lestat who had felt bad for what had happened to you, he decided to bring you to the chateau de lioncourt were you could be cared for and safe. 

Everyone in the great family was overjoyed with the news of you expecting a child, especially Pandora who demanded to be the childs Aunt. You laughed while saying you agreed. One night, Armand arrived at the chateau carrying an injured man, he called out to David. "David!" he called out. David looked up to see Armand carrying a strange man, you didn't know who the man was but David knew and he got up immediately. He whispered a name. "Oh Marius, what have they done to you?" he said sadly. David then ordered Armand to take him to one of the rooms where his wounds could be tended to. Armand obeyed and brought him to one of the bedrooms. You followed the others into the room and watched as Armand laid the injured man down on the bed. The others were shocked and you were sad, you couldn't believe that this had happened to this man. But at the same time you got a good look at the injured man, he was very handsome. Making you blush slightly and your heart flutter. 

"Y/N, would you mind helping me tend to Marius's wounds? I don't want you to do anything major since you are with child." asked David. You nodded. "of course." you replied. David smiled and you helped him care for the mans wounds. All the while thinking to yourself, "Marius. So that is this mans name...what a lovely name it is!" you thought to yourself. Over the next few weeks you helped Marius heal, and you did very well in helping him. Your gentle hands carefully tending to each wound present. As Marius healed the others in the great family told you about Marius. Whenever he was mentioned your child would kick you, making you and the others laugh. Pandora had said that you and Marius would be great together, and it was a perfect match as both of you needed someone in their life. Someone to love and share your life with. 

One evening as you took a nap you could hear voices in the room talking about you, Lestat was explaining everything that had happened. You slowly opened your eyes and blush as you noticed that Marius was awake and fully healed. He was speaking with Lestat and other members of the great family. Soon enough Lestat and Marius turned around, knowing that you were awake. Marius couldn't help but stare at you, noticing how beautiful you were to him. Lestat introduced you to Marius who was quite the gentleman towards you. He even began to flirt with you which made you blush like crazy. He told you that he had heard about what happened and that you are expecting. He promised you that he would look after you and your growing child. He would even protect the child as well as you. you were grateful for that. He was willing to do it all as long as you allowed it. You and Lestat laughed once he said that. You nodded and told Marius that you would allow it. Soon David came into the room and was relieved to see that Marius was alright. He was also happy that you had found Marius. You blushed and wondered where this journey would lead you to next.
