A few days after meeting Marius you are sitting in the drawing room in front of a roaring fire. You were on the couch reading a book, as you read your book you couldn't help but remember what David had said about Marius. He had been hell bent at keeping you and Marius apart given the circumstances. But Marius pushed the boundaries and continued to ignore Davids warnings, he would flirt with you every time you crossed paths, leaving you blushing and giggling. Marius was such a gentleman and he was very kind towards you, not to mention he always made you laugh. He had such a wonderful sense of humor, one day he joked around with you and said that he found Lestat to be the most hilarious. You laughed at the thought, it was very true. Lestat was the most comedic of the great family. You weren't sure who could out match Lestat.

You returned your focus to your book, you read for a while longer until suddenly the doors to the drawing room open and close. You looked up and saw Marius, you were surprised that he was there. You closed your book. "Marius what are you doing here, you realize that David is still in the house. We are not alone you know." you said. "David will not be a threat my dear, besides he is still asleep and will be for a while. Which means I can spend my time with you." he said with a wink. You blushed. He offered his hand to you. "Are you willing to break the rules." he asked in a flirtatious voice. You laughed and gladly took his hand, you stood in front of him. He looked at you with those gorgeous eyes and said "Do you trust me?" he asked, taking your waist. Sending chills down your spine. "Yes." you said. He guided you up to the roof and told you to hold on to him. You wrapped your arms around him and he picked you up. He took to the skies much to your amazement, the next thing you knew you had landed on a decorated rooftop. You were stunned. "Come here." said Marius, gesturing for you to come and sit down. You walked over and sat down next to him. There was a picnic blanket and on it were several Italian dishes and fine chocolates. It looked like it had cost a fortune. "Marius what is all this?" you asked with a laugh. "It is time that you are treated properly my dear, and I tend to spend as much time with you as I like. I don't care what David says about it."

"David will kill you if he finds out about this, you know he will." you warned. "I can deal with him Y/N, don't worry." he assured you. You nodded. "I don't think he will understand how happy you make me, and how precious you are to me. " he said making you blush. You spent the rest of the night laughing and telling stories. He mentioned some things about Italy and how he would love to take you there one day. You smiled and told him that you would love to visit Italy one day.  "Well if going to Italy is what it takes to win your heart then so be it." he said. You blushed and giggled. Perhaps it would. you thought to yourself. Finally dawn was approaching and you and Marius had no choice but to return to the chateau. Marius smirked and the next thing you knew he picked you up and spun you around. "Marius!" you giggled. He laughed and set you down. He stared into your eyes for a moment before asking you to hold onto him. You wrapped your arms around him and he took to the skies once again.

Meanwhile back at the chateau, David was in the courtyard pacing back and forth. Lestat was there with him. "I knew it! I knew it Lestat! I told Marius to stay away from our niece." said David. He was very upset. Lestat laughed. "Oh David, come on. Let them have some fun for once, what else has Marius done besides show kindness towards her?" said Lestat. David scoffed. "Kindness perhaps, but what he does with her angers me, he flirts with her constantly and..." David trailed off as he noticed that you and Marius had landed in front of them. David was furious while Lestat was laughing. David walked up to Marius and started threatening him. Marius just brushed him off saying he will be with you no matter how hard he tried. He also reminded David that he is a vampire and that he was just a mere mortal.

Marius smirked and took you by the hand, leading you inside. Lestat walked inside still laughing to himself. Leaving David in the courtyard alone.
