"Sean Jexter!"

All my emotions came back as soon as I saw his figure who barely walks out of the burning establishment.

I didn't bothered picking up my shoes as I run towards his direction.

Halos magka sabay kaming napa luhod ng medic sa tabi ni Jexter. I grabbed the oxygen mask and allow Jexter to use it. My hands are still trembling as I reached for his hand and hold it

"I thought I'd lost you" I said in a low voice.

A stretcher came beside us but Jexter waved his hand as a dismissal

"I'm okay" He said as he removed the oxygen mask and returned it to the medic

My eyes widen when Lauren grabbed a handful of sand and threw it at her cousin's stomach "Tanginaka! Hindi ka parte ng putanginang avengers ha! Hindi pa kayo kasal nitong kaibigan ko pero akala ko ma b-biyuda na siya!"

The three of us winced because of her loud voice

Tumayo na ako at hinila ang isang braso ni Jexter upang tulungan siya

"You stupid fuck, you should have at least grabbed a fire extinguisher when you entered the restaurant" Timothy said as he helped me from assisting Jexter to stand up

Lauren already took our bags and my shoes from the sand before she followed us

Jexter's cousin keeps on nagging at him.

While I could only look straightly and blankly towards the parking area.

"Are you sure you don't want to stop by the hospital?" Timothy asked Jexter who's already at the back seat of his raptor "I told you guys, I'm fine"

I sighed as I heard him. "Take him with you, I have my own car with me" I lifelessly said as I closed the raptor's back door

But before I could take a step away from Timmy's vehicle, he opened the driver seat and he walked towards me

"I already sent someone to drive your car, sabay sabay tayong babalik sa Winsborough" I said as he opened his hand in front of me.

I don't have any energy left in me.

Placing my car keys in his hand, I already walked towards his raptor and quietly sat at the backseat with Jexter.

The first couple of minutes inside the raptor was clouded with silence. I already buckled my seat belt as I saw Timmy already handed my car keys to a guy. "Hoy ayos ka lang ba talaga?" I heard Lauren asked Jexter and from my periphery, she glanced at her from her seat at the front.

I didn't bothered looking and waiting for his answer and I only reached for the gym bag between us where our things are.

Taking my phone and earphones, I already played a song from it and quietly looked outside the window's direction. I also noticed how awkward and how they keep on throwing glances as if they are all trying to read my reaction.
