seonghwa almost drops a vase full of fresh flowers he'd picked from the garden upon getting surprised by hongjoong who appears just as he turns the corner to go to yeosang's room 

"joong, shit, you scared me." the taller says, putting the vase down on to a shelf just to be safe because cleaning up glass is a pain

"it's yeosang, i think he's hungry," hongjoong says a little worried, yeosang's thoughts came to his mind after they were quite loud, his thoughts were all over the place as he was starting to get hungry.

"he's bound to, it's been 4 weeks since he last fed, i'll go talk to him, thank you for telling me." he kisses hongjoong quite sweetly before continuing to go to yeosang's room, he left the vase behind because if the blonde vampire was in panic, it's best to not bring something fragile

he can hear the heavy footsteps from inside the room, as well as yeosang's hushed voice but to be respectful, he knocks softly on the wooden door and asks if he can come inside. 

what he wasn't expecting was yeosang opening the door with a scared expression on his face as he throws himself on to seonghwa, clinging tightly like a child who had a nightmare

yeosang shaking quite a lot, rambling about being scared and apologizing for being hungry at such an early hour 

"oh, it's okay yeosang, how about we get your thirst under control first," seonghwa ruffles his hair as he makes yeosang wear one of his hoodies that were draped over the chair overlooking the front lawn outside

"hongjoong and i need to feed as well, perfect timing, don't worry, okay?"

hongjoong was the most excited when seonghwa called upon that it was time, he was curious as to how yeosang would approach the situation, especially after seonghwa gushed about his baby fangs, hongjoong saw it as well and he also found it cute.

the forest was quiet, still at bit dusky and yeosang swore if he wasn't half vampire he'd just be lost in it, it was dense and everything looks the same, he was enthralled when he sees hongjoong run and jump over the raging river 

"he's small but he's really strong," seonghwa comments, giving yeosang a pat on the shoulder as means of telling him to follow hongjoong

he backed up five paces, taking in a deep breath,a bit anxious that he might hurt himself even though he knows he's basically indestructible

"go on, you can do it." seonghwa encourages with a smile and yeosang ran, almost slipping and falling into the river when he reaches the riverbank but he managed to jump just in time but of course his incoordination caused him to land on hongjoong, making them both crash to the ground

they weren't hurt or anything but yeosang still apologizes, helping him up and dusting off the dirt that had clung to both of them

they hear seonghwa laughing across from them as he gives them a heads up to avoid another accident and hongjoong takes hold of yeosang's wrist, pulling him aside 

they watch seonghwa in awe, legs moving in the air as if he was running and landing on to the ground cleanly unlike yeosang who was a little ungraceful
