moon song (under my skin) - december avenue

「moonlight shines like candle light, it's only for you and me.」

seonghwa and hongjoong were quick to notice how yeosang became even more brighter, ever since the night seonghwa picked him up from the concert hall

he's been nothing but smiles and giggles, playing the piano non-stop, a little secretive in terms of his music sheets but not to the point that it alarmed the couple.

a knock on the door pulls the couple away from a game of chess in their back porch, they didn't hear a reaction from yeosang so it probably wasn't jongho.

hongjoong offers to open the door but of course, he got in seonghwa's mind so he wouldn't cheat while he was gone.

he opens the door to see mingi, dressed a lot more casually which was a surprise "hwa! mingi is here, did you call him?" hongjoong steps aside to let him in, leading him to the back

"no but it's nice to see you," seonghwa was still pondering on his moves, wine glass in hand

"so, what brings you here?" the shorter vampire offers him a seat on the cushioned chairs "actually, yeosang called me-" in a split second, yeosang was in their midst, smiling at mingi, doing some small yet excited claps

"it's in the car." mingi sighs, handing him the keys and the half mortal was out of their sight again "what was that?" seonghwa asks, putting the glass down and abandoning their game, pulling hongjoong to his lap and stroking his side

"well, first things first, your son is most likely in love." mingi laughs, pouring himself a glass of blood that was on the small table that situated between the two small couches

"but he's in denial and taking baby steps." the ravenette explains just as yeosang gets back, now carrying a record player

"i'm not in love! i just wanna give him a gift because he's being a good friend to me." hongjoong rolls his eyes before asking what was in the box

"oh, it's a bunch of classical vinyls, along with a record player." mingi explains as yeosang cannot be bothered while looking through all the vinyl sleeves

"yeosang, you could have asked us," seonghwa says, giving mingi an apologetic look "oh no, it's okay, anything to make the halfling happy." the lawyer brushes off, challenging hongjoong to play a game with him.

that is how their weekend afternoon went, seonghwa was on the side peeking at yeosang segregating the vinyls he wanted to keep and give to jongho, hongjoong and mingi were playing chess and drinking blood as if they were wine even though they were most likely sated but they were prima donnas who like to be extra.

once in a while talking about businesses, seeing as mingi handled all the legal matters in hongjoong's local art gallery as well as his interior design company and seonghwa's real estate, something yeosang doesn't really listen to as he knows little to nothing about it.

"so, how did your date go?" hongjoong asks, capturing seonghwa's interest as well "it went great, he's smart, energetic, boyfriend material." mingi chuckles, moving his pawns on the glass board

"he's a student of mine, he's very charismatic, he's the classroom's boyfriend!" seonghwa adds "oh he is, i think your son has rubbed off on him through the night, he was very elegant when we spoke, could listen to him for hours." yeosang stands up from the floor, joining seonghwa on the couch and snuggling to his side
