Weeks passed and I was yet to hear from Theo. Though I accepted that what we had was just a one night stand it still bugged me that he didn't even called.

I was later informed that he travelled to Europe for a business trip and it would be for maybe a month.

Dave and I became closer though he knew I didn't want a relationship we still hang out and stuff.

Right now Ash and I were shopping for her sister's baby shower. It was an amazing feeling to be in a setting with baby things.

I can't wait to actually have my own baby. Oh wonderful that would be.

"What do you think about this?"

"It's so cute."

I exclaimed.

"Girl you say that for everything I show you. I mean come on."

"It's just that everything is pretty cute in here. I can't wait to be shopping for my own baby."

She looked at me as if I grew an extra head.

"What?"

I asked.

"Nothing."

She shrugged and continued to search.

We eventually got a few cute little clothes and some diapers. I even bought a bottle which I thought was perfect.

We were on our way home in the car when Ash looked at me and sighed.

"Lia you really need to get your self a boyfriend or something. Your not getting any younger and you seem to want kids really bad but you are yet to be in a relationship."

"I......well I'm waiting on the right guy. You know?"

"Of course you are. Look you have Dave. He's a good guy but you need to give him a chance. Or are you still pinned on Theo?"

She looked at me curiously.

"Wh-at? No I'm not. I mean, I don't even think about him anymore. Come on girl you know me."

"Yes of course I know you and I know you are lying. If he's the one you like I support you, ok. It totally normal for you to want the guy you lost your virginity to."

I didn't reply to that. Of course. Why do I keep fooling myself. Theo got me attached even if he doesn't know.

We didn't say anything else and the drive home was silent.

"Could you pass the remote. I really don't want to watch this crap."

I laughed at her but passed it anyway. It's been two months now and I heard that Theo was back but he was yet to contact me.

Maybe I'm just delusional.

Maybe he doesn't even remember me.

Christ. This is stressing. Why can't I just fall for Dave and make everyone happy.

I rubbed my face and sighed.

"Ok. What is it now? You've been like this since morning."

"I keep fooling myself that maybe Theo wants me. I sure he doesn't even remember me."

I shrugged.

And you wouldn't guess what my best friend did.

She laughed.

Ashley laughed.

"Oh gosh your so funny. You think Theo forgot about you? Girl let me tell you. That guy as been asking about you since he came back but refuses to see you. I don't know why be he is far from forgetting you."

"Really!? He asked about me? That's good right. I mean maybe we could give it a try and see what happens."

"Yeah maybe. Now stop stressing and come give me one of those killer massages."
