CHAPTER SIX

Dave☝️

"Dave..... what are you doing here?"

"Are you going to let me in?"

"I'm sorry come on in."

I shifted from the door and allowed him in.  Closing the door I turned to look at him.

"You must be wondering how I knew where you lived?"

"Well yeah I am."

I answered with a nervous chuckle.

"Ashley gave me the address. As for what I'm doing here, I want to take you out to lunch."

I gaped at him.

"What? Why?"

"I just want to get to know you."

He shrugged.

"I don't know if that's a good idea."

"Oh come on. It's just a friendly treat. Not a date or anything."

He smiled showing off his pearly white teeth.

"Ok fine. Just let me get dressed."

"Take as much time as you need."

He exclaimed as I walked away.

"So how do you like my club?"

"That's your club?"

I asked surprised.

"Yes. It's really a great development for me. The third one I'm opening actually."

"Wow that's amazing. It's really cool different but cool."

"So tell me about yourself."

"What do you want to know?"

"Anything you can tell."

"Ah well my name is Zuri West. I'm twenty-five years old. Um I love cats and long walks."

"Didn't seem like a cat person to me."

"Yeah well I am."

We talked and laughed for hours and I learned a lot about him.

"It getting later want to get out of here?"

"Ok."

With that we left the diner. He was different than I expected. Not too arrogant and he doesn't have a very big ego.

We arrived in front of my house and he parked the car.

"So I had a great time."

"Me too."

"I hope we can do this again."

"Yeah we can."

"Let me walk you to the door."

He got out and opened my door for me. We reached the porch and I turned to bid him good bye only for him to pulled me to him and started kissing me.

I froze.

When u finally got back my senses I pushed him away and wiped my lips.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to do that."

He sighed and ran his and over his face.

"I'll see you."

With that he left me still shocked standing in front of the door. What the hell just happened?

I lifted my hand to my lips and groaned. This can't be happening to me.

Entering the house my mind was still in daze, I didn't realize Ash was standing there looking at me.

"So.........."

I jumped and held my chest.

"Are you crazy!? You frightening me."

"It's not me fault you were lost in thoughts about Dave. So what now you've got all these guys after you?"

She didn't sound jealous rather a mischievous look was on her face along with the smirk.

"Stop looking at me like that. It was just a friendly treat and it's not that I like him in that way or anything."

"Hmmm, if you say so darling. I made dinner want some?"

"No I'll just eat it tomorrow."

"Oh I almost forgot you went on a dinner date.

"Can you please leave me alone for once. Your really annoying."

She giggled as I walked away from her.

I'm in so much mess. As I said drama is my second best friend.
