" So it may sound like history repeating itself but this time I am not going to let fate have the last word. I know how much suffering I had to go through in the hands of that monster so I am going to do everything within and outside my capabilities to help this boy escape the same fate I had to go through", I said trying to sound determined and suppress the little shivers of dread running through my body trying to once again trigger a reaction to these bad memories.

Saying anything about my experience with Rico is nerve-wracking and panic-inducing and doing it in front of so many people was downright traumatic but I am willing to go through anything to get that boy to safety, far away from that dreadful person and all the dreadful things he was capable of.

I looked at the people around me and as expected they were stunned into silence. No one had expected these words to leave my mouth. Rico's name must have been something everybody had buried into the deepest corners of their heart because the last time his name was spoken in our pack was when I was still quite young and father had not been very kind to the person trying to bait me using my abductor's name. But that is a story for another day.

Although I wanted to, I knew that I was not in a position to give them enough time to let this shocker of an information sink in. We were running short on time and each minute wasted was like wasting away that child's life so I needed to bring them out of their reverie and force them into action.

" I know all of you are familiar with the name Rico and some of you have had first-hand experience of what that monster is capable of", I said looking at Jake's and Phillip's fathers who were the only ones who had seen the condition I was in when I was rescued apart from my mom and dad. My gaze was full of meaning prompting them to once again rise up to the situation and help another poor boy and his parents in need.

Jake's father gave me a subtle nod fully understanding whatever I was trying to convey and in turn agreeing to stand beside me. But right now I needed people to be vocal, to understand the situation and in turn voice out their opinions and strategies on how to proceed as we needed a plan and we needed to conjure one as soon as humanly possible.

"So I would like to know if all of you are on board and willing to help in saving this innocent child's life", I asked in a voice which I believe was filled with conviction and utter confidence. Conviction to help this child come what may and confidence in our combined capabilities to achieve just that.

At this very moment, I wanted them to see me as their strong Alpha dedicated to the sole purpose of helping someone in need and not a child who had suffered a similar fate.

I wanted their help, not their pitiful looks and I was going to make sure that they see me as a person who has worked hard to get over the rough patch in his life and has emerged victorious. Who was now capable enough to help someone else without being blinded by panic or his need for revenge.

" I swear on my life Alpha that I am ready to do anything and by anything I really mean anything, even sacrifice my own life, to save that child from the devil himself. He managed to escape alive once but not this time", those words that were dripping with hatred for Rico but also with utmost dedication to save an innocent life were spoken by Jake's father, the previous beta of our pack, not only the right hand but also a dear friend of my father who had wept alongside him when they had taken me to the doctor soon after rescuing me and had gotten a full rundown of my condition.

" That monster needs to die", shouted Mama Joe. Her eyes were blazing with anger and her tone was so ominous that everyone in the room was shocked to see her in such condition where her wolf had come to the very forefront and let her opinion known.

" Yes, Mama Joe and that's exactly what is going to happen. The boy's name is Ramsey and he is the son of Alpha Lucas of Red Blood Pack. He was abducted yesterday, late at night from his own room at the Alpha's mansion. His abductor is Rico and that is all we need to keep in mind while formulating a plan on how to defeat Rico at his own game and save the boy. So let's hear some suggestions but keep in mind we are talking about a full proof plan, not some half-hearted trails", I said looking around at each one in the room.
