I saw girl, who was crying
I went up to her and asked
What's the matter that you are so much despairingShe did not speak up
Neither did look up
I guess she didn't wanted a shoulder to cry on
But I still stood their standing near her for longShe was kinda suffer in silence type
That is what I was thinking
When I realised that she had stopped crying and it all became quietI tried to go closer to her
So that I could see her face
But all I could see was her long hairCovering her face totally
Making it difficult to see her visage
At that moment she got up so suddenlyRushed to the lake
To wash her faceAt once I saw her red fiery eyes
Filled with sadness and grief
But again her face covered with something....the liesShe was trying to smile
I saw her friends coming
Who were still far a mileNow they are all standing
With the girl in the middle
And everyone surroundingI had seen as her friends were approaching her
She had put on a mask
Again covering her agony of earlierFor they were chatting and laughing
All of them
With the girl joiningI couldn't make out
What was happening
Their laughs getting all loudStill I could hear the sadness
Of her laughter
Can't these people see the darknessSurrounding her which was slowly
Eating her up from inside
Though from outside she looked cheerful and jollyFading, their laughs were fading now
The people around her fading
Disappearing I don't know where and howAnd there was again the dullness
Which was surrounding her
Was again settling in, again returned the gloominessShe looked up into my direction
I could see her face completely now
No mask, no hair, no more illusionsI recognized who it was
And realised where am I
