Just roommates (Naofumi X Motoyasu)

Chapter 26- Death

I let out a small sigh and leaned my head against motoyasu's shoulder. "Thanks..." I mumbled. "No problem." Motoyasu replied. A few minutes passed, by each second my chest felt heavier.

A bus pulled up and the doors opened. "Let's go!" Myne beamed stepping into the blue, white and black bus. We all walked in around the same time. "Hey I wanted to ask you something!" Theresa asked running up behind me. "Oh, what is it?" I responded turning around to face her. "Well, uh.. Sorry if this sounds weird! Are you dating Motoyasu..? I assume so?" Theresa asked. "Uh... Yes..?" I shrugged telling her. "Ah! Okay!" She replied with a nervous chuckle. She sat down next to L'arc and began to talk to him.

I sat down beside Motoyasu making me feel a bit better about all if this. "We'll probably be there in about 15 minutes! The others are already there." Myne spoke up. "So the bad people are already there..?" Theresa said.

"They should probably be on their way, I'm not sure." Myne sighed.
"Ah, okay!" Theresa smiled.

We arrived at the place. It was a wide field, but very worn down. "Let's just get this over with.." I sighed summoning my scythe.
"Wow, cool weapon!" L'arc complimented placing a hand on my arm. I let out a sigh and grabbed Motoyasu's hand.

"Can people just stop trying to take you." Motoyasu growled pulling me forward, leaving L'arc to stand there. Me and Motoyasu stepped out.
"Ng.." I groaned as a headache occurred. "Is something wrong?" Motoyasu asked. "No, I'm fine," I lied. It hurt a lot more than it should.

"Ok.." Motoyasu sighed kissing the top of my head. I smiled at the affection. "Okay guys!" Myne yelled. I could see Raphtalia breathing heavily because she was nervous.

"Hey! We'll be fine Raphtalia." I told her walking up behind her. She looked at me with a small smile. "I know!"
"Here they come!" One of the others yelled. I gripped my scythe as one of the bad ones ran up to me. "Fuck.." I swore quietly. They swung there sword at me causing a small cut on my side.

I swung my scythe at their neck getting about half way through. Another one came from behind me. I swung at them violently. They dodged disappearing. "Where the fuck..?" I started before they came up behind me. I just dodged it in time. They were way too fast on their feet.

The male swung again. I didn't have enough time to process it. The male had stabbed me in the back. They tore the sword out giving me a chance. I swung at them quickly cutting them in half. I placed a hand on the fabric on my back. I pulled it back in front of me looking at the amount of blood on my hand.

"It's not too bad." I sighed. I looked to my left to see Raphtalia getting stabbed in the stomach. These people were far more talented than we expected. "RAPHTALIA!" I yelled running up to her. I stabbed the female in the back causing her to chock up blood. She collapsed to the ground.

"A-are you alright Raphtalia?" I asked applying pressure to her stomach. "I-I'm fine!" Raphtalia smiled nodding her head weakly.
"Naofumi behind you!" Raphtalia yelled pointing.

I swung my scythe backwards looking at the person. They had a huge cape covering almost all of their identity. I jumped to the side pulling Raphtalia with me. "Let's get you to Myne..!" I panicked picking her up. I found Myne running up to her.

I dropped Raphtalia carefully beside her. "She needs healing." I said. "Y-yes!" Myne yelled surprised.

I ran back out to fight the person with the cape. They were standing there katana in hand, Ready to fight.
I ran at them my scythe in my hands. I swung up as I ran at them. I swung at them. They were now out of field of vision. "W-what.." I stammered looking around.

I felt a sharp pain go through my back. "Not quick enough."A rough Female voice coughed out. I could see the knife through my stomach. They shoved the katana out of me causing me to fall to my knees.

The assumed female kicked my head causing me to get down on my stomach. "Now die," They said stabbing me in the arm. "How about you die!" Motoyasu yelled stabbing their side. They fell down now bleeding out.

"A-are you okay Babe?" Motoyasu asked kneeling down. I could see tears in his eyes. I forced myself to flip over and stared at him through the eyes. "I'll be fine." I nodded.

I could feel the pain all through out my body. My vision got blurry and fuzzy. I chocked a little bit of blood up. "Y-you aren't Fine..! Y-you need a h-hospital..!" Motoyasu stammered picking me up. I couldn't find the energy to speak.

I knew I was going to die. I was loosing too much blood. "I love you.." I whispered. With the last of my strength I sat up kissing him on the lips. He put me down gently, sitting next to me.

"We can get you to Myne! You'll be fine..!" Motoyasu cried placing a hand on my back. My vision went even more fuzzy, my head ached more. I could feel cold tears running down my face. "You aren't dying..!" Motoyasu sobbed once again picking me up. I could see Myne up ahead but before I was there my vision went black.
