Dangerously in Love

Second Breakup

Days past, her curiosity is rising up.

She asked him, "Before me, have you ever been in a long-distance relationship?" 

He simply replied, "Yes. But I lost her in a car accident."

She asked him again, "Where is she from? If I may ask."

He refuses to answer her, "Really don't like talking about this. I really don't like having memories of that. It was a terrible period in my life. A part of me left. So I really don't like talking much about it."

She then attached him a picture of him with another girl named Valerie. She didn't know the name at first but as she research through her Google page, she found the name. He seemed really close to Valerie in the picture. She got this picture of the two of them together in a wedding function from his personal Instagram highlight and she's been wanting to ask him who is this woman to him but never got the chance.

She then texted him, "Sorry about this but I wanted to ask, who is she?"

He answered her, "We just had a thing back then. Nothing too serious. She was one time the only person I do talk to. Someone around me. In Russia."

Her curiosity rising up and she asked him, "Are you still seeing each other?"

He begins to feel uncomfortable with her curiosity, "Why do you ask me all these questions? Any problem?"

She then explained to him, "I wanted to know more about you :) Doesn't have any problem. I have been open to you about my ex. Just wanted to know more about you."

He refuses, "Don't like talking about my ex. It's really bad memory for me. She is a close friend. We do see once in a while. She is most times so busy. But we talk from time to time."

She apologizes to him and thank him for opening up to her. But he disapproves the actions of her curiosity so he aroused some question to her, "And please, if I may ask why do you keep going through my old stuff? Even after I have told you to block that account. Never told me that though. But even at that, is that why you keep asking me funny questions about my past? I have told you the necessary things you need to know about me. There is nothing else to know."

She explains to him, "I didn't go through your old stuff, I saw it on your personal profile in Instagram and wanted to know for a long time who she is but haven't found the right time for it. I really do want to know you more about past, present, and the future  I hope you're ok with this? I feel like I've told you everything about me, but you haven't opened up much to me especially about your past... It's like I have to be extra careful with asking you questions about the past or anything that comes up from your 2.1 M followers Insta because you wouldn't like it. I'm sorry if I feel this way. And I'd prefer you're the ones that blocked me from that account. It's safer that way I think :)"

She saw that he's online and typing but didn't pull through, "You were typing before but didn't send it. What did you want to say?"

He's like, "Nothing. Just let it sly."

She feels guilty that she hasn't blocked his 2.1 M followers account because she's learning a lot about him from that account compare to his personal account.

She then confessed to him, "But can I be honest with you, I haven't blocked that account because I'm learning a lot about you in there and also, I'm learning Russian from there too. I hope you don't mind?"

He quickly replied, "I just don' like it. Not comfortable with it."

She's confused like she genuinely wants to know the reason behind it. She thinks if he didn't like her scrolling through his 2.1M followers, he can just block her from that account, she thinks. So, she asked him, "May I ask why? Because of the hackers?"
