When he called her name,
She never think that she ever heard anything beautiful and yet, so painful in her entire life..—
That room still has the same vibes. The long, black velvety couch still stay at the same spot since two years ago when she came to this place for the first time. What makes it different only the colour of the window frame. It's all in white now.
She took a seat at that couch while staring at window. Enjoyed the dancing leave from a maple three outside. She was slightly wet from the rain when she came to the room.
"Welcome back, Seira." Her shooting voice which filled with kindness and gentleness crept into Akagi's ear. "How are you?" She continued her words while holding that ash haired girl's hand.
Akagi stared at the woman with white long coat in front of her. It's been a week after their last call. Finally, after two years, Akagi met the lady in front of her again. Her face still as beautiful as before and her presence still brought calmness around.
"I am.. not sure doctor.." she shrugged and held her warm hand back. The hoarse voice proved that she was about going to cry.
That beautiful doctor with "Shirakawa" name tag on her chest shifted her position and leaned forward as she looked into a pair of scarlet eyes in front of her.
She spoke carefully.
"Is Akira coming back to you again?"
—
That girl kept quiet and looked away. Her eyes stared blankly through the window.
"Do you want to talk about the incident?" That beautiful lady asked with a caring tone.
"No."
"Did you listen to my advice and talk to anyone about this?"
"No."
"Your parents?"
"I don't feel comfortable talking to them."
"Your friends at school?"
"I am stop going to school." She said coldly. "Beside I don't have any friends at school."
"Why you stop going to school?"
Her eyes stared at the lady in front of her.
"Because I don't want to go."
She sighed.
"You need to talk to someone, okay? Is there anyone that you trust?"
That scarlet eyed girl shook her head. Her mind wildly ran through a scene that happen few months ago. When people screamed and gathered around. When she tried to break through the crowd of people. When her face was pale and her heart beat so fast as she continued to curse to calm her mind.
She remembered it again. The memory which hidden away back in her head for years, back down into the nerves inside her brain.
That beautiful silver hair was covered in red, her favourite slender fingers which she used to hold were no longer able to see. The usual sweet smile was replaced by a little gape, gasping for life.
She wanted to shout the name she often called, wanted to hug the body she loved. But her lips remained silent and her body frozen to the ground.
Her ear could hear the cries along the yellow line, felt her sore eyes and her pierced head for holding back tears. Everything still felt unreal to her.
Suddenly she felt like drowning. Darkness coiling, grasping her throat. She can't breathe. Her body sunk in panic.
"Seira, calm-," her voice was muffled.
She felt a presence in front of her, kneeling down and holding her trembling hands. Her plump lips muttered 'no' over and over again.
"Seira! Listen to me!"
"NO!"
She felt a pair of hand roughly nudging her body and snapped out of the illusion.
—
That ash-haired girl widened her eyes. She was panting hard.
Once again, time began to fly by for Akagi who mentally felt as though she was back to being the same despair, almost crazy girl during her middle school. There are so many conflicting emotions inside her heart that it felt so hurt. A bitter irony crept into her mind when she realised that this painful memories, actually appears when she should feel happy. When someone has just entered her life and should give a new story, but it's bitterness that arises in her heart.
She extremely depressed. She had no point to her life now. When Dr. Shirakawa started to hold her hand tighter, she would hardly even speak to that lady. She felt as if the hope and life she had now was slowly being sucked out by her hurtful memories and it was an overwhelming and exhausting feeling.
"Doctor.." She choked between the words and tears uncontrollably spilled down her face. "Akira is gone."
Dr. Shirakawa stared at the helpless soul in front of her.
"Yes.." she said softly.
They were seated face to face. Akagi looks extremely pale and sick. Her eyes look glazed and her lips weren't rosy as they usually were. She looked so broken. An eerie silence engulfed room and her emotion darkened her face to only added the gloominess.
"I saw him." She mourned in despair.
Akagi closed her eyes and hung her head low. She bit her lips and thought about it. Tears stream down on her face when she was mustering up her courage then looked up to the beautiful figure in front of her. She blinked her eyes several times to have a better looked at her surroundings before continuing her words.
"I—I saw him—" She tried to speak again but it's so hard to do when she's crying. "I saw him beaten by the train."
She almost threw up when she said her words. Her hand clenched and tightly grasping her nails into her skin before shut her eyes.
"He left me, doctor." Again, she was choked between her words and tears.
A thunder stroke in the back.
"He is dead"

I think I remember you
From the last vestiges of a dream.
Where reality and illusion blur
In between states of mind.
You're a memory of a memory
That one face in the crowd
In a passing car, a crowded train.
A glitch, a ghost
From a different time
From a different life..
