It's so Romantic in Paris

"Maya! It's your turn for makeup!" Isadora called from the hotel room we were getting ready in. We were currently in Paris for fashion week, the head designer of our company got to pick two designers to bring with him, choosing Isadora and I.

Today was the day of the Dolce and Gabbana show. The theme was very outgoing ready to wear clothes, think Egyptian Emerald and lapis blue diamonds, blazers with frills and pencil skirts, dresses from Victorian styled times and crowns or staple oversized ear pieces

I got up from my place where I had just finished having my hair straightened to perfection, not a curl in sight. Isadora and I swapped places, allowing me to get my makeup done while she had her hair done

"Do you know what dress it is you'll be wearing?" The makeup artist asked as I sat down. I nodded "Uh yea probably the black one" I reply, gesturing to one of the hanging dresses on the rack

She nodded, "that's my favourite one there" she replied with a smile. "Yea I think it's mine too" I state. She applies pretty natural makeup so that she doesn't overpower the dress, giving me nude glossy tanned lips and a deep brown eyeshadow look

She applied a small amount of blush to the bridge of my nose to give me a natural blush, bronzing and making sure that the rest of my skin looked flawless "and you're done!" She stated "thank you so much" I smiled, standing up from the seat kindly

I make my way over to the dress, I had to wear a full black bodysuit under it because it's almost see through. What is with me and see through clothes? The dress was black, it came down to about mid thigh. It was scrunched in the middle making it look like it was sticking to my body, expensive rhinestones layered through the dress making it sparkle in the light

It had matching gloves that came up to my elbows, rhinestones on these too. They covered my perfectly manicured long acrylic nails making my fingers look elongated. I wore solid black pointed heels, finishing the look with a large statement diamond necklace

The outfit was designed by Dolce and Gabbana, who we are currently doing the show for so we had to dress in their clothes. Isadora finished getting into her outfit, meeting me in the room once she was ready "okay so I thought I looked good, and then I saw you and now I need to change" she looked me up and down

I giggled, "you look amazing isa! Stop doubting yourself now let's get out there!" I ushered her to the door. She smiled, leading the way down to where we met Dolce and Gabbana

"Maya! Isadora! You look amazing!" Stefano greeted us as we approached them "well we're wearing the best" I smirk, kissing their cheeks as we greet them "you ready to see our looks?" Domenico questioned

Isadora and I nodded eagerly, following them to the car that drove us to carrousel du louvre, where the show was being held.

We made small talk on the way to the show, taking someone's hand to help me out of the car, following Dolce and Gabbana through the crowded areas of photographers and the few odd celebrities here and there

"Okay so the show is due to start in a matter of minutes, find your seats they have your name on them. You'll be front row on the right side of the runway" one of them explained to us. "Thank you so much" Isadora replied, leading through the busy room

We enter the busy event room that had been beautifully decorated, a runway placed through the centre in a large U shape. Photographers flashed their cameras as we walked beside the runway, tags on the seats saying saying names until she stopped, my eyes trailing over the one next to her

I picked up the papers that were on the chair, sitting down beside her. The seats beside me reserved for Dolce and Gabbana. My eyes flickered over the pages, briefings and descriptions about the fashion displayed over different booklets

"Maya oh my, look at that guy sitting across from us, he's the best looking human I've ever seen" Isadora whispered, leaning closer to me..
