It was now Friday night, and Maya had returned home to get ready. Riley sat on her bed chatting away and maya dressed, she did her makeup afterwards, picking a soft glam look.

She then did her hair in a similar messy but sophisticated up do bun that Riley had the night of the hotel party. She had straight face famine pieces, and layered on her expensive jewellery.

She slid on her shoes, taking a look at herself in the mirror. "Do I look ok?" She asked the brunette who nodded quickly "very nice" she replied.

Maya picked up her handbag, piling in whatever she needs for the night before heading out to the living room where Farkle sat watching the tv "ok so you'll be back by like..11?" Riley questioned the blonde. Maya nodded, "yeah probably a bit before then" she replied.

"And no boys!" Farkle added, glancing over to Maya, this time Riley nodded in agreement. "Yeah thanks. Not gonna bring a boy home with my mum and dad in the bedroom next door" maya sassed at the way they were acting

They all laughed, Maya soon left and was in a taxi on her way to meet Isadora. She stared out the window for majority of the journey, her gaze being distracted as the car stopped outside the restaurant.

She paid and went inside, her eyes landing on Isadora sat at a table alone. "Hey!" Maya squealed, reaching her friend "hey!" She replied in the same excited tone. They hugged before Maya sat across from her

"How have you been" Maya started the conversation "it's been ages" she added. "I know! It's been busy working over at Gucci. I'm loving it such a fun team..how about you are you enjoying it?" She asked

"I love Versace. Donatella is amazing. She introduced me to Karl fricken largerfield the other day" Maya gasped as she reminisced. "No way. Chanel??! That would be amazing" Isadora dreamed

The waiter came over, asking for their drink choice. They ordered two martini's and began looking through the menu making small talk about what they're thinking of eating. Once they had ordered their food, they felt as though they could sit and properly catch up.

"So. Tell me. Paris hottie..what's going on with him, are you still seeing him?" Isadora questioned. Maya took a sip. She nodded, "mm yeah I was..up until last weekend" she laughed awkwardly.

Isadora pouted, "aw I'm sorry to hear. What happened?" She questioned. Maya shrugged, "we were really good. he asked me out soon after Paris and we were in a good place. We got along so well and my best friend and his best friend go out so we would hang out as a four. It was great. But he got a bit busy with work and then one day he asks to meet and turns out he's moving to london for 6 months" Maya summarised.

Isadora gasped, "No way!" She started. "So he just packed up and left?" She questioned. " he found out about the project a week or two before hand but he found out it was in London the day before he told me. And then he told me, and left the next day" she explained

"Was he sad?" She asked. "Yeah, yeah I think so. He was saying that he didn't want to break up and that he wanted to stay but you know how it is. It wouldn't have worked and we would just be lying to ourselves" the blonde replied.

"That's a shame. I'm sorry to hear. And how are you feeling?" Said Isadora. "I'm ok, getting better. I cried a lot and I still cry..a lot..but I'm better and I'm all good" Maya laughed, sipping from her drink again. "Ok good" Isadora smiled

"And you? What about his friend that you met? What was his name?" Maya asked "Zay" Isadora replied. She shrugged, "we saw each other on and off. He was lovely but we just didn't hold it down" she told her friend

"So it like mutually stopped?" Maya asks. Isadora nodded, "yeah we just got busy and neither of us were overly overly fussed. I would be interested in seeing him again actually...it's been a few months now" she raised her eyebrows

"Worth a shot" Maya laughed.

As the night continued, the two ate and had a couple more drinks. Sometime after dinner these two men approached the table, Maya and Isadora let them sit.

Now maya knows she doesn't want anything, she's in her boy free zone. And Isadora didn't seem fussed either. But who's going to turn down free drinks?

The boy next to Maya was called Zach, and the one next to Isadora was called Tom. They were good looking, but not Lucas...in Mayas opinion.

And she had already been warned about boys by her 'parents'.

They were definitely over a few rounds in of drinks. And the boys were fun to talk to, they were interesting. Their dessert got brought over, she's not usually one for dessert. But it looked so good.

It was In some fancy bowl, ice cream and honeycomb decorations dotted around the food. It was a Michelin star restaurant, so you know it's going to be fancy.

"Ok. Pictures!" Isadora pulled out her phone. "Yes! Let's take some. Of us" she whispered the last part in return. Isadora told Maya how to sit and pose, taking pictures in the perfect lighting before the role reversed and maya did that for Isadora.

Once the night had come to an end and Maya and Isadora were ready to go, they denied the two boys they met and dashed out to the taxis. They said their goodbyes and promised to see each other soon before climbing into seperate cars.

While in the car, Maya flicked through the photos to find her favourite one and transferred over to her growing Instagram. She picked the photo of her with her elbows on the table, she had the fork in one of her hands and the other was under her chin, holding her face

It was a soft smile, it was seductive. She captioned her photo 'sweet like candy' with a small emoji to reference her dessert in the pic before pressing post.

She soon arrived back, a little bit tipsy and definitely in a good mood. She opened up her apartment door, Riley and Farkle sat on the couch watching a movie.

"Hey!" Maya smiled, catching their attention "hey" Farkle replied back kindly "not hey! Who's this!" Riley holds up Mayas new Instagram post on her phone "me?" Maya laughed confused

"No. This, who's this!" She showed maya the photo again. And it wasn't until then she noticed the man's arm draped over her seat behind her, a masculine hand just brushed against her left arm "oh" she furrowed her eyebrows "I didn't see that" she added

Riley raised her eyebrows, waiting for an explanation "it was just these two guys to sat with us. I'm in a boy free zone but I still like free drinks" she shrugged "once Isadora and I were done with our food we left them there" Maya laughed

"Ok good. Just didn't want you doing anything silly too soon" Riley hugged her friend, the concern leaving her tone. Maya headed through to her bedroom, shutting the door and sitting on the bed.

She looked back to her Instagram post, her eyes now scanning over each detail, it does look like she's with someone. But she wasn't going to delete it.

Because she knew Lucas would see it.
