Chapter 15: Trouble

August, 17, 1898

Taehyun's POV

It has already been three days, ever since Ryujin and Chaeryeong left to get the herb and they haven't returned yet. Which is kind of disturbing, because knowing those two, they would like to get back here, as soon as possible.

But, that's the opposite of what happened. They both haven't returned. And I do admit it's kind of worrying and terrifying at the same time. Because of something, that's connected to Ryujin.

I have to report this to Beomgyu and the others. I quickly ran towards the door, and left the room, to go to Beomgyu's office and tell them about this. I ran towards the Castle, and was greeted by Yeonjun hyung, he looked like he just saw a ghost.

I quickly thought of an idea. I looked at Yeonjun hyung, who looks so confused, and pointed a finger on himself. Which, I nod at and smiled.

"Hyung! You need to help me!" I said, while shaking him.

"U-Uh... T-Taehyun... s-stop..." He said.

"Y-You're l-literally s-shaking m-me t-to death.... I-I s-still need to g-get married to Y-Yeji...." He said, while I was shaking him.

Then it hit me I quickly stopped shaking him and smirked. But, when I saw him, I quickly thought of something, that makes sense, in a way.

'He literally has no chance, for Yeji noona.' I thought.

Once, I remembered what I was supposed to do.

"Hyung, come on! Let's go to Beomgyu." I said, and pulled him with me towards Beomgyu's office.

Once we reached it, I saw Yeji noona, reading a book, at the couch, while Beomgyu was just reading documents.

"Beomgyu! I need help!" I said, and approached him. He quickly looked up.

"Hmm, what is it?" He asked, putting his Pen in the penholder.

"Ryujin and Chaeryeong haven't returned to the Castle yet!" I said, making everybody look at my direction.

It took them a bit before getting what I was saying.

"What?!" Beomgyu said.

"You mean they haven't returned after they left three days ago?! I thought that was only going to last a day, for most!" Yeonjun hyung said which I nod at.

"We need to do something!" Yeji noona said, while standing up.

"What do you mean? We don't even know where they are!" Yeonjun hyung said.

"Well, we know their last whereabouts, how about starting there, dummy?" She asked him, while pointing at him.

'Oh boy, this isn't going to end well.' I thought.

"Okay, before you two start bickering, let's find them first." Beomgyu hyung said, making us nod at his statement.

"Come on; let's go to that island we need to find them, as soon as possible." He said, and left the room, making the three of us follow him.

'Just wait Chaeryeong, we'll be there to save you guys!' I thought.

Ryujin's POV

We were going to go back to the kingdom when, Chaeryeong said, she saw another herb that was also rare, so she thought we should get it.

'I mean really, couldn't we just go back to the kingdom already?' I thought, while looking at her getting all excited.

Since, this will take a while, I decided to sit down and read a book. I was busy reading a book, when I suddenly heard Chaeryeong scream. I quickly looked to where she was supposed to be, but, when I saw it, she was gone, and her stuff was on the ground. I quickly went over to it, and saw that the plant that she was going to get is still in tacked.

I was getting closer to it, when I slipped. I was wondering why I even slipped.

'It wasn't even raining earlier. So, why did I slip? Only soapy and wet surfaces makes you slip.' I thought, and stood up.

But, when I did, I touched the ground, it was wet. When I looked at it, it was blood, I quickly screamed.

I wanted to run away, but, seeing blood, made me really worry for Chaeryeong, this is where she was supposed to be in, and it's now covered in blood.

I quickly stood up and fixed her things and got the herb for her. I got her things and rushed over to my things to fix it as well.

I decided to go back to the Castle and report to them what happened when; I was suddenly got by something in the head, making me fall, and slowly losing my sight and fell asleep.

But, I was still worried for Chaeryeong, although, I'm in this situation I still worry about people who are younger than me. Because they all remind me of my sister.
