Nini's POV
Today was the day where we move to the El Rey theater. We moved everything over in the past few days but no one would let me carry anything. At all.
"Ok so everyone, we are here!" Miss Jenn announced "Welcome to the El Rey theater. Now, time to get started. Ricky and Nini, you two go find a spare room and practice the rooftop scene" Miss Jenn told us "Ricky, make sure Nini doesn't do anything she isn't supposed to do." I rolled my eyes at how over protective she is "Missy, I know your hormones are tough but I'm just looking out for you"
"I know. I'm sorry" I apologized.
"Let's go" Ricky said, annoyed. I think he's still angry at me for going to the party.
"Ricky, you have no right to be angry at me" I told him as we were walking to a spare room. We found one and walked in.
"You shouldn't have been at the party" he told me.
"Fine, whatever" I walked over to the piano as Ricky turned the lights on.
"Page 10?" He asked.
"Page 10" I agreed "You know in kindergarten when you'd meet a kid and you'd know nothing about them and then 10 seconds later you're playing like you're best friends?"
"Yeah" he looked at me.
"Singing with you felt like that" I told him.
"Well, I never thought about singing. That's for sure until..." Then he stopped "I know this scene. Should we just lose the scripts?"
I nodded at put down my script.
"You know in kindergarten when you'd meet a kid and know nothing about them then 10 seconds later you're playing like you're best friends?" I repeated.
"Yeah" he smiled.
"Singing with you felt... Like that" I smiled back.
"Well, I never... Sorry, do you remember kindergarten when I couldn't pronounce your name?" He asked, sitting down.
"Yeah" I laughed, thinking of the memory "You couldn't pronounce your 'a' but I never really liked the name Nina anyway"
"Yeah, I still can't think of you as a Nina" he laughed.
"What about you call me buddy?" I joked, sitting beside him.
"Oh. Sorry about that. Wasn't a good day for me" he laughed, getting up "But, I was Richard Bowen so pot kettle"
"Richard" I laughed "You are way too young for that. Only 50 year old should be called something like that. I couldn't look you in the eye"
"Yeah. Was it the name or the fact that I literally microwaved your Barbie doll that year?" he joked "And then I knocked over your lemonade stand" he smiled
"And you ate my science fair project about mouldy bread" I reminded him.
"Oh, that wasn't my finest moment. It was disgusting" he sat back down.
"Yeah, we both suffered on that one" I smiled "Wow, we have some flaws"
"Yeah. More me than you, right? I mean I got you pregnant and then couldn't say I love you when you wrote me that song" he laughed lightly and then stopped, regretting what he just said.
I got up and stood with my back facing him.
"Sorry, I shouldn't have brought that up" me apologized.
"Ricky" I started, freaking out.
"What?" He asked.
I turned and looked at him with a shocked and worried expression.
"My water just broke"
Ohhhh! Cliffhanger!
