Freaking Out

Nini's POV

Our daughter... Her heart stopped. Ricky and I were talking when we heard the beep. We looked at eachother and our newborn baby.

The doctors and nurses then rushed in and told us to step outside.

"But, I'm her mother" I argued, crying.

"Nini, please..." Ricky asked me calmly.

I nodded and walked outside to the waiting room and sat down.

"How are you so chill about this? Olivia could die" I asked him.

"Trust me Nini, I'm not chill. I'm freaking out but we just need to hope for the best" he smiled a reassuring smile at me.

"Thanks, Ricky" I smiled back.

"Mr Bowen, Ms Salazar-Roberts?" A doctor said, coming over "You can see her now"

"Ok..." I smiled at Ricky "Let's go"

Ricky's POV

I smiled at her as we walked into the room where Olivia was.

"Hey Olivia" I smiled at my daughter.

The nurse came in behind us "We have some bad news. Olivia is in a coma. I'm sorry"

Nini burst out crying. I sobbed quietly but I didn't care. All I cared about right now was daughter. She was in a coma?

"I... Need... The bathroom" Nini sobbed, running out of the room.

"I'll leave you two alone" the nurse smiled at me and left.

I saw a guitar sitting in the corner of the room and started to play it.

"Mr Bowen. That was great" the nurse told me from behind.

"Thanks" I smiled at her.

"I'm back" Nini came in.

"Your daughter will be ok" the nurse told us, looking at Olivia "Your song must have brought her out of the coma. Do you believe in miracles? Because I think you just did one"

"Thank goodness" I let out a deep breath and hugged Nini. She hugged back.

"Thank you so much" Nini thanked the nurse as she walked away.

We saw our baby girl and were very pleased with what we created. It was like how it used to be... Only with a baby.

"Miss Jenn just sent me a text" Nini told me "It says to meet in the school hall for practice" I nodded and we left for the school building.
