Nini's POV

After Ricky and I left the hospital we went to his house to tell his dad.

"Ricky?" I asked as we were driving to his house to tell his dad"Am I showing yet?" I lifted my t-shirt up.

"Uhh" he looked over at me and my stomach and quickly looked away "A tiny bit. Not much. You'd only realize if you knew"

"Ok" I said to him.

"Here we are" he said as we got out of the car.

"Nervous?" I asked him.

"I'm about to tell my dad that he is going to be a grandfather at... Whatever age he is" he told me nervously "I'm terrified"

"It's ok" I smiled at him "Everything's gonna be ok" I took his hand.

He looked at me and we locked eyes.

"Uhh... Sorry" I said, letting go of his hand.

"No, no. That's fine" he nodded "Let's see what he's gonna do to me"

"My moms were fine with it... After a while. What's the worst your dad could do?" I asked him.

He looked at me like I was stupid "Kick me out" he answered.

"Fair enough... But your dad is nice" I told him.

"Let's just see" he said and we walked into his house.

"Hey son" Mike said as he came down the stairs "And Nini?"

"Hi Mr Bowen" I smiled at him.

"Hey dad. We have something to tell you" Ricky told his dad.

"Are you two getting back together?" He asked, smiling.

"No" Ricky started "It's bigger than that"

"You are too young to get married kids. Sorry to have to break it to you but..." He started.

"NO DAD" Ricky interrupted him "Just. Stop guessing please" he smiled.

"Ok, what is it then?" Mike asked.

"Sit down" I said to him.

He sat down and Ricky and I decided who would tell him.

"He's your dad, you tell him" I told him.

"It's about you, you tell him" he fought.

"Ricky. It's about both of us" I said to him.

"One of you just tell me" Mike said impatiently.

"Ok" Ricky started "Dad. Please don't freak. Nini is pregnant"

"What does this have to do with me?" Mike asked.

"I'm 3 months along if that helps" I told him.

"Wait. 3 months ago you two were dating. So..." He thought for a minute.

"I think he's got it" Ricky whispered to me.

"YOU CHEATED ON MY SON" Mike screamed at me.

"Wow. Wait. What?" Ricky asked, confused.

"Ricky wouldn't get a girl pregnant so who did you cheat on him with?" Mike continued.

"Mr Bowen, it's Ricky's" I told him "I didn't cheat on him. I was pregnant before Ricky and I broke up. We just didn't realize it"

"Ricky, is this true?" Mike asked his son.

"Uhh... Yeah..." Ricky confessed, scratching the back of his neck.

"Oh..." Was all Mike said. The way he said it made me have flashbacks.

"I do Ricky" I told my boyfriend after he had listened to the song I wrote for him "I love you"

"Oh" Ricky replied.

"Hey Nini! You ok?" Ricky asked me "You zoned out for like five minutes after my dad said oh" then he realized why "Oh" he said, only quieter this time.

"You sound really like your dad you know" I said, still not half in the same world as them "Wait. Where'd your dad go?"

"He went upstairs to process that" he told me awkwardly.

"I'm gonna go before he kills me" I said and left.

Ricky's POV

"I'm gonna go before he kills me" she said and left.

"No. Wait. Nini. I love you" I called after her but it was too late, she had already walked out the door.

"Maybe next time, son" my dad said from behind me "Maybe next time"
