The Show Must Go On

Seriously?

Ricky's POV

It's been a week and a half since Nini found the 'perfect parents' for our baby. I haven't really talked to her but I have still been beside her when she needs me. I'm pretty angry at her.

I was out of school today when I saw a huge crowd around some lockers I went over to see what was going on.

"Who's the dad?" Someone asked.

"I... Uhh... You don't need to know" a familiar voice replied. I knew that voice. Nini!

"Who. Is. The. Dad?" The first voice repeated "I will kill your baby if you don't tell me"

"Wow, Wow, Wow" I said, coming up behind them.

"Are you the dad?" Someone asked from behind me.

I looked at Nini and she smiled at me.

"Yeah. I am" I grabbed Nini's hand and we walked away to see Miss Jenn. I had a plan for keeping the baby.

"Thanks a lot Ricky but where are we going?" She asked.

"Miss Jenn" I responded.

"Yo Ricky and preggo!" Someone shouted at us from behind me. That really annoyed me.

"Seriously dude?" I asked him, turning around and letting go of Nini's hand. I didn't expect to see who I saw.

"EJ, why are you doing this?" Nini asked him. EJ? Him? He was the last person I expected to see bullying Nini.

"Because if it weren't for you, Ricky and your stupid baby then we would still be together" he said to Nini.

"What did you just say?" Nini asked, angrily.

"You heard me, Nini" he shouted at her.

"Did you just call my baby stupid?" She handed me her books that were in her hand and her bag and walked up to him.

"Yeah..." He said, confused of why she was acting like this. I knew why though. Hormones get you angry and I'm pretty sure she is already furious with EJ without the hormones so with them... Good luck EJ!

"DON'T YOU DARE CALL MY BABY STUPID" she screamed, walking towards him. He backed up, scared "IT HAS TWO AMAZING PARENTS AND I AM ACTUALLY GLAD THAT RICKY IS THE FATHER RATHER THAN YOU. DO NOT EVER DARE TO CALL MY BABY NAMES LIKE THAT EVER AGAIN"

He nodded and ran off.

"Hey, everything ok?" I asked Nini.

"Hormones got the better of me in that one" she laughed. She tried to take back her bag but I wouldn't let her.

"Nu uh" I told her, laughing "Baby comes first"

"Carrying a light bag won't harm the baby" she faught.

"Better safe than sorry" I replied, smiling at her.

"Guys! Guys! Guys!" Carlos screamed, running down the hallway to us.

"What's wrong?" I asked him.

"We need to show you something" he told us.

"Don't scare me like that again" Nini started "I thought something bad had happened" she laughed.

We followed Carlos to the auditorium and sat down on the seats and watched Kourtney, Big Red, Carlos, Seb, Ashlyn and Gina... Wait. Gina? Ok... Well, they sang and danced to a song saying that they would help us with our decisions about the baby. It reminded me of the one in Glee where the glee club sing it to Finn and Quinn in the first season.

Once the song was over they all said part of a speech.

"You can count on us with anything you need help with. Need make-up during labour? I'm here for you" Kourtney laughed.

"I don't think make up will be her first priority" Big Red laughed. "Either of you can call me anytime about anything. Ricky says I'm an easy person to talk to" he smiled a genuine smile.

"Big Red, that's because you don't listen" Carlos mentioned "If you need a hand with something fashion wise, or just generally, then you can come to me" he nodded.

"I will be here for... I don't know... Anything really" Seb giggled.

"We will help you get through this" Ashlyn smiled a huge smile.

"I can help you with the dance. We don't need to do all that twisty-turny stuff" Gina laughed "Also, I'm sorry about all that drama a few weeks back. I hope you can forgive me and we can be friends?"

I looked over at Nini to see her balling her eyes out.

"These are happy tears" she got out between sobs.

"Hormones" I explained to the confused theater kids. And Big Red.

"Thanks Gina. That means a lot" she stopped crying "Thanks to the rest of you as well. That was really sweet" she was about to cry again but she stopped herself "And Gina, I can forgive you"

Nini and Gina hugged eachother tight but Gina a bit looser because she was worried of harming the baby.

"Come here you lot" Nini said to everyone. We all got up and joined their hug. Nini and I locked eyes and smiled. This... This felt right.
