The Show Must Go On

Assembly

Ricky's POV

I told Nini she could only do some dance moves to stay safe so when we were practicing in Big Red's basement she stood to the side most of the time. Big Red wasn't going to do it but then when Kourtney sprained her ankle and wasn't able to do it anymore, he had to step in.

Today was the day we had to preform in the assembly. We were all very nervous. Kourtney chooses when we go on because she starts and plays the music. When the humming starts we all have to stand up and... There's the humming. It's time.

That went well. Miss Jenn was told she could stay and Nini didn't come in any earlier than she was supposed to. I kept an eye on her just incase. What? I'm the baby's father! What do you expect me to do?

"Great job" Carlos high-fived everyone.

"Hashtag save Miss Jenn" Seb laughed.

"Hey, Ricky?" Nini started "Can I talk to you?"

"Uhh... Sure" I told her. We walked over to the corner in the cafeteria where not many people are near.

"So, I did some research and found out that without the consent of both the mother and father, the baby can not be adopted so if you want to keep the baby, technically you can" she told me.

"I... I will think about it" I smiled at her.

I know this is a short chapter but the next one should be out, like, right now. I didn't know what else to put in this one.
