The Show Must Go On

FIRE!!!

Incase you can't tell by this chapter, I don't live in a country that has thanksgiving so I'm not too sure on how long it lasts but in this we will just say it lasts a week.

Nini's POV

I can not believe Ricky just walked out last week. It's still shocking me today. Wow. I would go back to school after the break today but I am now off for a while. I have been off for a few weeks already too. I haven't talked to Ricky in a week so hopefully things won't be too dramatic.

I am a week over 7 months pregnant today and I'm getting really big. Ricky and I decided we would keep the gender a surprise until we had the baby.

I was walking into rehearsals and I passed Ricky. We looked at eachother with no expression. I walked into the auditorium to see that it had went up in flames over the holiday. Everything was burnt.

"Everyone. Rehearsals are cancelled until further notice" Miss Jenn told everyone.

"But..." Everyone started.

"No" Miss Jenn cut us off.

"What if we find a new venue?" Kourtney suggested.

"I'm so sorry Miss Jenn" I started "but I really don't want to be here if I don't have to. I am really tired and my feet are aching"

"A new venue might work" Miss Jenn smiled "And Nini, you go home and lie in bed. Someone here can video call you and you can sort out the new venue with us. Kourtney, you go too. Drive her home"

"Thanks" I left with Kourtney and we sat in my bed video calling Ashlyn to keep in contact with the group.

"How about the El Rey theater?" Carlos suggested. This was about the 30th suggestion in the past 5 minutes.

"Yeah" everyone agreed. Kourtney and I nodded. Miss Jenn looked worried.

"Miss Jenn, are you ok?" I asked her.

"I'm fine" she smiled at everyone "The El Rey theater it is"

Everyone cheered and Carlos called his uncle to get reservations.

"My uncle says he doesn't have any spaces for 2 weeks time" Carlos informed us.

"Well, it's better than what we have now. The El Rey theater it is. In 2 weeks" Miss Jenn smiled "Everyone can go home. We will just meet here for a while to talk about the show and anything to do with it"

Everyone nodded and left. Kourt and I said goodbye to everyone and hung up the call. Now I have to decide whether I want this baby or not.

"Hey Kourt? Do you think I should keep my baby?" I asked her.

"That's up to you" she told me "But you have a few months so you don't have to decide just yet"

"Yeah. You're right. I don't need to stress myself out about this. Thanks Kourt" I smiled at her.

"No bother" she hugged me "Now, I love you but I've got to go home. Mac and Cheese for dinner" she waved.

"Bye! Love you" I opened the door "Mwah"

"Mwah" she replied.

My moms would want me to make dinner so I put the High School Musical soundtrack on on my Alexa and cooked Spaghetti Bolognese.

"Hey Moms" I greeted as they walked in the kitchen.

"Aww, thanks hunny" Momma D smiled at me.

"Spaghetti Bolognese? Wow! You are already a mother! Thank you" Momma C laughed.

"Yeah" I laughed, setting the plates on the table.

"So, what happened today?" Momma D asked, sitting down.

"The theater burned down, Kourt and I went home and rang Ashlyn to keep up and we are moving to the El Rey theater in 2 weeks" I told them "Not much" I joked.

"Wow" Momma C reacted "Well, in 2 weeks you will almost be 8 months so be careful"

"I will Momma C" I informed her "I will"
