"Do not miss your breakfast, do not put your belongings out of nowhere, do give me a call at least once per two days," I advised Diane and she nodded.

"You too. Since I'm not gonna be around you anymore, doesn't mean that you're free to do whatever you want. You are still my responsibility. So, take care, okay?" she said.

I nodded and smiled at her. "Okay, I guess I will see you next week," I felt heavy to leave her when I saw Dr Steele was standing beside me along with the nurses who stood beside Diane.

"I'm going to be alright, Kate. Don't worry, okay?" She said.

I shared one last hug with Diane before I let her go. She promised that she would change by the time she was released from rehab. Dr Tony smiled at me afterwards and I carved a smile at him back. He walked me to the entrance door as soon as Diane and I parted ways.

"I am actually very grateful for your decision. I knew it's hard but I know you're strong enough," he said.

"Thanks for convincing me, anyway." I smiled at him.

"So, do you have any plans for these two months?" He asked.

"Well, that's a tough question. Um... I might consider going back to work at my old place. At Jeremy's cafe. I used to work there before Diane was promoted to be an editor," I grinned.

"If you're free, you're always welcomed to go to my house if you wanted to," his shocking offer made me stunned.

"Your house?" I asked to ensure I was hearing it right.

"Yeah. If you come to this centre to meet Diane, you can drop by my house which is three blocks away from this place. My wife and my kids would be pleased to welcome you," he explained.

"Okay," I said as we reached in front of my car. "I'll see you next week and I'll let you know if I want to drop by your house," I smiled at him.

"Okay, see you again, Miss Miller," he said as soon as I entered my car and I nodded at him before he left me.

And then, I received a call from Judy. I didn't know why she was calling me but I was so excited to answer the call to tell her about Diane.

"Hey, Judy," I said merrily.

"Katherine," she was sobbing hard.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"Louis," she continued to cry again.

In the blink of an eye, I knew where this was going. I knew there was something bad happening to Louis.

"Judy, calm down. I will hang up the call and I will go to the hospital straight away as soon as I can, okay?" I said and immediately, I hung up the call and starting my engine.

I rushed towards the hospital in a few minutes. When I arrived, I ran towards the registration counter.

"Hi!" I was gasping, hardly catching for my breath. "Um... I was looking for... Louis Daniels," I stammered and still struggled to breathe peacefully.

"And you are?" The guy asked.

"Katherine Winter. I'm... his son's friend," I answered.

"Louis Daniels, ward 5A level 5, right-wing," he replied.

"Thank you," I rushed towards an elevator and I pushed the '5' button and it brought me straight to level 5 because there was nobody on the elevator.

I saw Judy and Chris were embracing each other as soon as I stepped out of the elevator. I walked slowly towards them and they were still sobbing.
