Dear my black community
I know I will never know
How you all truly feel
I will never see the world in your eyes
And I will never have your fears
But what I can say
Is that us as humans
Will unite to help you all
My people are protesting helping you
My people are glad to help
A wonderful and humble community like you
You helped us voice out
When ICE was treating us like aliens
You helped us destroy ICE for some time
And helped others see we were good people
Now it's our turn
To show them how amazing you all are
Nobody should feel unsafe
And nobody has the right to neglect someone
Just because of the pigment of their skin
We all are humans
And deserve to be treated equally
I apologise for anything my people have said
Many of us
Are very ignorant
To what's happening in the outside world
They don't want to risk
Their families life and safety
You might call us selfish
And I completely agree
But many are helping protest
And I as a Hispanic
Is helping and educating my parents
Into the many hardships and fears of others
I will never leave you
I will always stay by your side
And defend my belief
That you all deserve your right
And most importantly
#blacklivesmatter
