Bella's POV: When I woke up, I saw texts from Danielle and Lani asking if it was true that Derek and I were friends. When I replied to them, I told them that it was true and they started grilling me about him. Danielle was super excited about me and him dating but Lani wasn't excited. Lani: Ew, seriously? Him? Danielle: If he makes her happy, then they should be together. Bella: Thanks Danielle. Danielle: He just better not hurt you. Ding Ding Derek: Morning, how did you sleep? Bella: Great, Danielle and Lani know we're friends, is that okay? Derek: Just friends?😏 Bella: Maybe more.☺️ Derek: So I was going to do a romantic gesture but I can't wait to ask you, will you be my girlfriend and go to the homecoming dance with me? Bella: Yes, of course! Derek: I'll pick you up at 6pm and we can get dinner? Does that sound good? Bella: It's perfect. We texted for a few more minutes then I went to get dressed.

The day went by super quickly and before I knew it, it was lunch. Danielle, Lani, and me sat together, we discussed our homecoming dresses and planned to go shopping later. I was so excited about going with Derek. The school day went by quickly except for shop, Derek wasn't there. I texted him asking if he was okay and he said it was his sister, I wanted to go to his house but I had plans. Lani and Danielle met me at the dress store, then we got manicures and pedicures, then last the shoes.
