Bella's POV: It'd been a week since my birthday and I was super excited to see everyone again. The club was hosting a barbecue so I'd get to meet other members of their club. I was so nervous about what to wear. I decided on a simple white shirt with black shorts and my leather jacket.

Danielle: OMG, I got invited to the barbecue too. Bella: Really? Who invited you? Danielle: Landon, I can't believe it. I'm so nervous, can I come over to pick out an outfit? Bella: Of course! I heard Danielle's car pull up and then I heard her yell for me. When she entered my room, we chatted about her outfit and her and Landon. Danielle and Landon had been talking for the past week over text and Danielle really liked him. We decided on a white vest, black crop, and white shorts.

When we got to the party, Ella came over with Sophia and we all started talking. I felt a shadow glooming over me and I wasn't sure who it was, then I heard his voice. "Girls, I'm going to steal Bella away" said Derek. I was so excited to see him, granted I just saw him yesterday, but still. We spent the next hour meeting the rest of his club and it was amazing. Then I heard the roar of motorcycles pulling up. Derek went to ask Alex if anymore people weren't here yet, but then the shooting started. Everyone was running to take cover while the guys were trying to protect all of us. I felt an arm grab onto me and yank me, I wasn't sure who it was, then I felt a cloth over my mouth and started to pass out. I started feeling faint but I saw him, the same guy from homecoming, Cole.
