When it was time for them to get back into their cars, Jimin was being extra clingy.

"You need to get in, Jimin," Taehyung whispered, pushing him off with care, though Jimin didn't want to let go. Eventually, he did, a glum expression adorning his drowsy features, though he tried to hide it.

Taehyung felt bad, almost like he burst his personal little bubble of joy. With his eyes wide, he looked over his shoulder to Yoongi, who was leaning back onto his car, a coffee in his hand.

"Taehyung will come with us this time," Yoongi informed the others, who were ready to drive off. At his words, they left the car park, temporarily leaving the other four.

Taehyung tilted his head, "What?"

Slightly raising his eyebrows, Yoongi tapped his nose and seated himself in the car.

Namjoon got in the front with Yoongi, watching as the younger two got in the back, confusion laced in their pretty features. Surprisingly, Jimin seated himself in the middle seat, rather than the side.

Taehyung was about to question it, though when Jimin tiredly laid his head on his shoulder and reached an arm across his lap and around his waist without a word, it all made sense.

Taehyung gently pressed his cheek against the older's head, his hair tickling his cheek. Their fingers were threatening to intertwine, the backs of them ghosting over one another's. Every time they bumped, the butterflies in his tummy fluttered once more.

As they drove around the bends on the early morning road, the two fell asleep.

It was about 8:00 am when they arrived.

Seokjin made a stop at a supermarket on the way there to get some goods, so the other three hadn't arrived yet.

As Taehyung woke up, he felt an ache is his neck from tilting it for too long.

"What time is it?" He asked, his morning voice deep and thick.

Namjoon turned around, looking back at him. More specifically, his gaze was fixated onto his hand. His fingers were loosely intertwined with Jimin's, who was still asleep on his shoulder.

"It's 8:06. The other's should be here soon," Namjoon told, raising an eyebrow and nudging Yoongi, who was fighting a smile off his lips.

"Stop," Taehyung whinged. The noise waking Jimin up. Taehyung watched as he blinked a couple of times, lifting his head off his shoulder. As he looked down, he saw their hands and immediately let go, crimson dusting his cheeks.

"Oopsie," Jimin squeaked, looking anywhere but the older. He looked baffled for some reason. Taehyung guessed that it was because he himself didn't let go. Maybe he should have earlier to not look desperate, but he loved the warmth on his fingertips.

Frankly, he missed it; his hand felt lonely. He didn't know why he wanted it back, for it was Park Jimin, the boy who he wanted nothing to do with before.

Now, things were indescribably different.

He found himself staring out the window, stunned at the beauty of the clear lake surrounded by trees, their long, elegant arms coated with deep saffron leaves. There was a boy who canoed alone, though he didn't appear at all lonely: He looked at peace, comforted by the October warmth.

The four of them needed to wait in the car, for the cabin was signed under Seokjin's name, and he had paperwork to complete before they were allowed a key.
