George activated the landing sequence as the lava planet came into view.
Couldn't Dream hide on a prettier planet? Like Naboo? Hell, I'd take Tatooine over this melted chunk of rock, George thought.
The Jedi Council had provided George with a short list of destinations to check for the Sith Lord, Mustafar being at the very top.
George sighed as he opened the door of the ship. The heat from the planet was like a slap to the face. George knew it would be hot, but my god this was like entering hell!
He wasn't entirely sure of what he should be looking for other than, you know, a Sith Lord.
The only two things that Mustafar were good for were mining and hiding. And if Dream was here? Hiding would be fairly easy.
George walked across the platform he had landed on to a bridge that connected it to another platform. He walked across, never looking down.
George decided he should tap into the Force and let his senses guild him to where he needed to go.
He wandered into the building. It was a round, large room. The walls were covered in screens and panels that displayed the logistics and schematics of the facility George was at.
He eventually made his way out the door to another platform. This one was more narrow than he would have liked, but he managed to step out onto it without panicking.
When George was about halfway across the platform, he noticed a figure in the distance. He did his best to quiet his steps so that the person wouldn't notice he was approaching.
"You know I can sense you, right?" The figure said.
George froze. He knew that voice too well. But this time, he could feel the person's presence, meaning that this was no longer a Force Connection from two separate locations.
He stood up straighter, grabbing his lightsaber from his belt. Dream did the same, still facing away from George.
Everything happened so quickly. George ran towards Dream as he turned around, blocking the initial attack. George pressed into his saber, causing Dream to lean back to avoid his own sword.
But the funny thing was? Dream didn't seem to be struggling at all. Actually, from the looks of things, he could do this all day.
"You've gotten better, Georgie," Dream said.
George used to live when Clay would call him Georgie. But now it felt foreign and unnatural.
In this moment, George chose to disregard that this monster used to be his best friend. He felt anger and hate coursing through him, giving him more strength against Dream.
Even though he was now losing the fight, Dream smiled. George ignored it and pushed harder, forcing Dream's lightsaber to be only a few inches away from his neck.
"Don't you feel power, George?" Dream asked.
"Don't you feel like you're unstoppable?""I feel like I could finish you off right now," George said through gritted teeth.
Dream laughed, still straining against his opponent's power. "Welcome to the Dark Side."
Realization hit George like a shuttle coming out of hyperspace.
I used the Dark Side? He thought. There's no way I could have...
But deep down, George knew the feelings of power he had experienced only came from one place.
Guilt replaced all of the power he had been feeling only moments before. He felt himself loosing the upper hand on George, but he was too slow to react.
Dream pushed George off of him, sending him to the edge of the platform. George looked down at the lava a hundred feet below.
He flipped onto his back and used the Force to pull his lightsaber into his hand. Before he could activate it, Dream was standing over him.
He smiled at George before swiftly planting the heel of his foot into George's temple, causing him to black out immediately.
