George cracked open his eyes, but immediately shut them when he was met with an impossibly bright light.

He slowly peeled his eyes open but by bit. The light was still irritating, but tolerable.

George was strapped to a table similar to earlier, but this one was equipped with more restraints. Cuffs were wrapped around his biceps and wrists, giving him absolutely no room to move his arms. Bands of metal also ran across his thighs and his ankles.

I guess they really don't want me to try and escape again, George thought.

"Good. Your awake."

George tried to turn his head to look at who had spoke, but realized that his head was strapped down also.

"Who are you?" George asked.

The man, George presumed, laughed as he stepped into George's line of sight. It was the masked figure he had seen moments before he blacked out. "I'm honestly surprised you don't remember me George."

George racked his brain trying to remember where he had heard the familiar voice. But sure enough, he came up empty handed.

"Dream told me you were uncooperative with his methods. So, it's my turn to try and crack that thick skull of yours," the man said.

He walked to George's side and held up his hand, diving into George's head like Dream had.

The pain was terrible. It felt ten times worse than when Dream had explored his mind. George let out an agonizing scream.

The other character removed themself from George's head momentarily.

"Sounds like that hurt," he said, a smile evident in his tone.

George shrugged as well as he could within his bindings. "I didn't think it was too bad," he said, sarcasm lacing his words.

The masked man scoffed. "Don't worry, I can make this hurt a whole lot worse."

He pulled out a lightsaber that he had managed to keep concealed within his black and red robes.

He quickly activated the saber, holding it against George's thigh.

The heat from the blade quickly burned through George's pants, searing the flesh of his leg.

He yelled as he tried to move away, but he couldn't. He wanted to try to use the Force to free his legs, but the pain made concentrating impossible.

After a few seconds, when the masked man seemed content with George's suffering, he turned off his sword.

In between difficult breaths, George managed to ask, "What do you want?"

The masked figure lowered his face to be level with George's. "Simple. I need you to give up your attachment to the Light. And don't worry, I wanted to kill you right away. But Dream insisted that we need you."

George wasn't sure whether he should be flattered or insulted. It was nice to know that Dream still was somewhat attached to George, but it was also insulting to hear that they believed they could simply pry open George's head and change his entire perspective on the universe.

George closed his eyes and tried his best to ignore the throbbing pain in his leg. He quickly skimmed over the masked figure's mind to give himself an idea of who he was working against.

George gasped. "Darryl..."

The masked figure grabbed George's face, causing him to open his eyes.

"The name is Bad Boy Halo now. Darryl is dead."

George was hit with memories like a ton of bricks.

Master Adi-Mundi stumbled into the training room in the Jedi Temple where several Padawans were being trained by their Masters. He appeared to be out of breath. Training paused as everyone turned to look at who had just run in.

"Masters, we have a problem," Ki Adi-Mundi said. This definitely got everyone's attention.

"What is it, Master?" Obi-Wan, who was training with George, asked.

"Clay, Darryl, and Vincent have all disappeared."

George was shocked. He had assumed that Clay had just overslept from their late night practice the night before.

"What do you mean 'disappeared'?" Obi Wan asked.

Master Adi-Mundi sighed. "We can't find them anywhere in the Temple. We looked into the security recordings from last night and discovered that they ran off."

"So, now that you remember me, do you understand why I left? Why I dropped the life that brought me nothing?" Darryl asked, snapping George out of his memory.

"I can understand leaving the Order. What I can't understand is going to the Dark Side just so you can burn holes in the sides of the legs of sane people just because they don't agree with you," George snapped.

Badboyhalo scoffed. "You're really trying my patience. I could give you another nice gash. Dream never said that the goods couldn't be damaged."

That shut George up quickly.

Bad sighed. "I'm really getting tired of you. I guess I could just torture you until you beg to join us."

And with that, Bad reactivated his lightsaber and swung at George again.

Much love,
