George scrunched you his eyebrows. "I'm not sure that you heard me the first time, but I did say no."

Dream smirked. "I know what you said."

George was becoming more and more confused. "What's so funny?"

"The fact that you think you have a choice."

Dream stepped closer to George and held out his hand. George felt a tension in his head. It was gentle at first, but it grew more and more painful by the second.

Memories filled with sadness, anger, and other powerful emotions flashed through George's mind. It was like watching a slideshow of his life, but he could feel someone watching with him.

He tried to push the other presence from his mind, but that just caused more pain.

"Don't resist, George," Dream said in a soothing voice.

George wanted to shoot him a glare, but he felt that if he opened his eyelids, his eyes would shoot out of his head.

Not only was he seeing the memories, it was as if he was experiencing it all over again. He felt the sadness he felt the day Clay left. He felt the fear he felt when Sapnap was in the med bay when he got hit with a lightsaber during practice. He felt the grief he experienced when his pet died as a kid. All of these memories were like emotional knives digging their way deeper and deeper into him.

"It hurts less if you relax," Dream reminded. George wasn't done fighting yet.

Sweat beaded on his forehead from the effort, but George couldn't even feel it. It was like the pain in his mind was strong enough to make his body numb.

After a few more minutes, George couldn't fight it anymore. He allowed Dream to step into his mind, having no more energy to keep him out.

"What you saw, George," Dream said. "Was how the Jedi see the Dark Side. All you see is loss and pain. Let me show you what else comes with the Dark Side."

George felt the pain in his mind dissipate. New images flashed through his mind. They felt familiar, like memories, but he had never seen these before.

Some showed him and Dream, having a great time ruling side by side. Some showed the revenge he could get on those who had wronged him, without any consequences.

It was like his mind was beginning to come to terms with the evil parts of the Dark Side because of how perfect everything would be.

He could be with Dream again. He could have everything he could ever want. And all he would have to do is leave behind his life, betray the Jedi Order, and...

And betray Sapnap.

This realization snapped George out of his thoughts. Although Dream was inside of George's head, these thoughts even caught him off guard.

George took the opportunity to open his eyes and use the Force to pull the lightsaber off of Dream's belt.

The moment that the handle hit his palm, he felt the dark power built up inside.

Ignoring this, George activated the saber, freeing his arms and legs from the table.

As Dream began to react, George rolled off the table, landing on the floor in a crouch.

He held the saber out, pointing towards Dream's neck as he backed towards the door. He hit the button beside the door, his eyes never leaving Dream's.

He backed through the doorway and hit the button on the outside to close the door back. Once he did, he turned around so that he could begin to execute his escape.

As he turned, he noticed another figure dressed in dark robes, this one with a black mask.

Before George could turn Dream's saber towards them, an invisible force launched him into the wall, causing him to black out once again.
