Chapter 6

Beginning

After (Y/N)'s little encounter with the yokai, the morning came shortly

The young girl quickly ran to the window, the one that the monster had used to leave the house, and saw the sun slowly rising from the east...
"Did I just... Stay up all night?!" She whispered yelled to herself as she gripped the window sill

She shook her head and plopped down on her soft, cold bed. It was the first time she was up for a whole night, so she was feeling absoloutely awful. She tossed and turned, trying to get at least a small amount of rest, but nothing worked

'Maybe... Just maybe' she thought as she stared at the ceiling 'if I hit my head hard enough, I'll fall asleep...'

She quickly realized what she was thinking and slapped herself
'Even if I did that I'll have a bruise on  my head! And that'll look ugly! And if I look ugly I'll never find a husband! I'll die alo-wait I sound like Rin right now...'

After noticing that she won't be getting an ounce of sleep today, she got up from her bed and went to the bathroom to wash her face

When she stared back up at the mirror she noticed how terrible her face looked. Her hair was dishelved and she had black circles under her eyes

'I can't go out looking like this!' she thought to herself as she quickly brushed her hair

After being done with her hair, which still looked very messy, she made her way to the kitchen to make some breakfast for herself
"Maybe I should skip shopping today too..." She mumbled as she took a bite out of her bread
"But then again... I'll just starve to death if I keep skipping! Maybe I'll ask Miku to buy me some stuff." She talked to herself as she finished her breakfast

Finally the sun had fully come up and the girls in town slowly started to flood the street.
(Y/N), having no intention of going outside with her current look, searched for a teal haired girl from her window. When she spotted Miku she quickly ran to the door to call her

Hearing (Y/N) calling for her, Miku made slowly walked towards her friends door and smiled
"Good morning (Y/N)-oh dear you look awful..."

(Y/N) sweatdropped at her friends comment, although she expected her to say that, it still hurt. (Y/N) asked her friend for the favors and Miku agreed. Thank goodness she has such angelic friends. One is an absoloute cutie and the other is pure beauty

Miku went back to her route to the market place and waved her friend goodbye

Friends... Gumi and V flower!

Quickly realizing what had happened last night made her nauseous. She met a monster, a Baku to be exact, but a monster! She could've died but she was still alive and breathing

'Wait a minute...' she thought to herself as she put a hand on the wall for support
'I only survived because I knew about that thing... Gumi and V Flower didn't know about it...'
The more she thought about it the more dizzy she became
'They were innocent... They were innocent! They only wished for sweet dreams and what they got was-' she couldn't finish her thought before the breakfast she ate this morning came back up to her mouth
She quickly made her way to the bathroom and let out all the stuff she ate
