I had a dream not long ago,
It scared me and pained me, it made me grow,
A dream so real it even hurted physically,
There was no more metaphors told lyrically,
I gave you all my trust!
Your eyes were pure bloodlust,
You grabbed me by my feet,
You dragged me down, you weren't sleek,
I looked back at the shore,
My friends, my family and more,
All staring down at me falling deeper into the shadows,
All I could see was the free land from above like a foreshadow,
The future being told in my dreams about what will happen to me,
All the things I buried and tried not to believe will now be,
Then I woke up wishing,
You had never got to me brainwashing,
